Trading Card Game Tips from fans

April 2008

The REAL review of 'Transmigration Break' - Warp Knight

Okay, I'm getting heartbroken over the Pojo reviewers not seeing the obvious uses of the cards they've reviewed in the last month, only thinking of how they work with the Pro Circuit's Metagame. Therefore, I'm gonna pass on my insights, as well as the insight of the others I play with. So hear we go:

'Transmigration Break'

Continuous Trap

Effect: "When a card(s) is returned to the Deck from the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead."

Obviously, UDE named this because of the card it obviously had its artwork parodied and was meant to work with - 'Transmigration Prophecy', but if your opponent is using cards to bring back Monsters removed from play, this won't be very effective. However, it CAN cheat your opponent out of the cards they want - ex) If your opponent Special Summons 'Dark Magician of Chaos', either thanks to 'Dimension Fusion' or 'Monster Reborn', and tries to grab either of those back from the Grave, you COULD use both "Transmigration" cards to take both permanently away from your opponent, but that's a LOT of setup for fairly little gain.

The coolest, and most obvious, use of this is with the god that is 'Rainbow Neos', especially if this is in a dedicated NeoSpace deck, because 'Aqua/Marine Neos' can dump your opponent's cards in the Grave, then 'Transmigration Break' and 'Rainbow Neos' can remove your opponent's entire Graveyard from play with just one discard. Then his other two effects can clear the way for at least one 4500-point Direct Attack.

That's it for now, I suppose. My friend Shadowqueen says she's going to show off her tournament-winning Yubel deck and send it in too, so look for that.

-Warp Knight

P.S. - Regarding 'Rainbow Neos', the reviewers kept going on about needing both 'Rainbow Dragon' and 'Elemental Hero Neos' to be on the field in order to fuse them, as though it's a Contact Fusion or can only be brought out with 'Super Polymerization'. It's just a regular fusion, requiring 'Polymerization' and those two specific Fusion-Material Monsters. Anyone that plays 'Rainbow Neos' knows that the best cards to bring him out quick are 'Elemental Hero Prisma', 'Future Fusion', and, if you're desperate for its effects, 'Chain Material', but the best is yet to come, including 'Hero's Mask' in Light of Destruction and, should it ever come out, 'Miracle Contact'.
