Card of the Week and Spoilers-Crzydrvr

Hey guys! Sorry I don't have a deck for you today, hopefully you won't
stalk me for that :). But now I have the Card of the Week for you,
plus even more spoilers. First off, we have our card of the week,
which will have my friend John join in the reviewing. We're still
looking at popular cards of 2007-08, so let's look at a very popular
card for DAD, Caius Monarchy, or any DARK related deck, Allure of
Darkness!:

Allure of Darkness
[Spell Card]
Draw 2 cards, then remove from play 1 DARK monster from your hand. If
you don't have any DARK monsters in your hand to remove, send all
cards in your hand to the Graveyard.
Overall Traditional: 4 stars outta 5
Overall Advanced: 4.25/5

Crzydrvr
This card is a good tech card for any duelist with a DAD deck. It's a
Pot of Greed that combos with Escape from the Dark Dimension. With
pretty much everyone running a DAD destruction deck, this card lives
up to the semi-limited list's standards.
Traditional: 4 stars/5. Chaos Control, anyone?
Advanced: 3.5 stars/5 Lightsworns aside, it's still pretty good as a
draw engine.

wow. isnt this the best draw card in the game right now? not only does
it allow you to draw 2 cards, but pitch a dark to the out of play
zone? thats like a plus 3 for most dark decks, as remove from play is
where darks come into thier own. there are so many combos with this
card its insane. it sets Darks up for a win (jinzo from the RFG pile
for a nice ending anyone?). i would put it right up with Pot Of Greed
and Chaos Greed as best draw card in the game (those of you who
disagree with Chaos Greed then i would be interested to hear why). A
couple of combos:

Allure -> D.D. Scout Plane (gives 2 cards and Scout on the Field)

Allure -> Dark Magician Of Chaos (targeted by Allure) -> Return
(Dimension Fusion for Traditional) target Dark Magician Of Chaos
(target Allure) -> Allure -> D.D. Scout plane

wow.. that second one gives 2 cards on field, 4 cards in hand and off
only a 4 cards combo, and 2 of them come back to the field. i work
that out to be a... +4 i think (would have to check on that one)

The only real downside to this card is that it relies on darks, so it
isnt really for every deck, but a heck of a lot of decks can get a
boost, and because of its reliance on darks i would recomend only
using it WHEN YOU HAVE A DARK CARD IN YOUR HAND and not rely on the
draw to give you one, as lady luck does not always prevail.

Ratings:
                   Advanced: 5/5 It has to be the best around in this
neck of the woods.
             Traditional: 4/5 A good choice here, although Darks are
generally removed by CED and his chums. still, if needs be, but Pot
   Of Greed and graceful charity over take Allure Of Darkness here i
feel, but still a good choice.
