Trading Card Game Tips from fans
February 2008
How are you
all doing. This is my second deck post and boy
is it a good one.
I would like
to give you a second to think what the most
powerful monster in the game is. Really take a
moment and think about it.]
You probably
thought of monsters such as Light and Darkness
Dragon, Raiza, Marshmallon. Now that's a pretty
good list and each of those monsters is great,
but in my opinion there is one that makes those
insignificant. In fact, it's so good I've built
a deck around it, the amazing Levia Dragon
Daedalus. If you don't know its effect here it
is: Send "Umi" on your side of the field to the
Graveyard to destroy all cards on the field
except this card. Now who is not instantly in
love with an effect like that. Just get rid of
one card to destroy everything on the field,
except a monster that is about to swing for 2600
damage. Well, I have always been obsessed with
this monster and have built an incredible deck
based around it.
Making Waves
Deck Size:41 Monsters:20 Levia Dragon Daedalus x3 Raiza the Storm Monarch x3 Cyber Dragon x2 Nightmare Penguin x2 or D.D. Crow x2 Warrior of Atlantis x3 Hydrogeddon x3 Abyss Soldier x2 Sangan x1 Breaker x1 Spells:12 A Legendary Ocean x3 MST x1 Level Limit Area B x1 Brain Control x1 Pot of Avarice x1 Premature Burial x1 Scapegoat x1 Wave-Motion Cannon x2
Heavy Storm
x1
Traps:9 Mirror Force x1 Torrential Tribute x1 Call of the Haunted x1 Dust Tornado x2 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast x2 Pulling the Rug x2
This deck's
abilities are amazing. It can burn or battle.
It is very simple to get Levia on the field and
once it is the game is almost always over. The
whole point of the deck is to get Levia on the
field, blow away your opponent's field, and
inflict tons of damage.
The only
problem this deck may have is against decks that
use Solemn's because they will try to ruin
Levia's party, but the great thing about Levia
is that its effect can be done of priority, so
it can be activated right away. Thus,
Bottomless, Phoenix Wing Wind, aren't going to
do much, just watch out for Pulling the Rug. I
have included a lot of spell and trap
destruction to try and stop the problem of
chainable traps. The thing I love most about
this deck is that sometimes Levia is just not
drawn, but when that happens Level Limit Area B
can stall for you while Wave burns away. Please
feel free to test away with this deck as changes
can always be made. I did not include a side
deck with this deck because I don't know whether
to try to side into a new strategy or just have
cards for countering. That choice is up to the
duelist, I guess.
Thanks for
taking the time to read this, I really
appreciate it everyone. If you have any
questions or comments email me at

If anyone has any needed deck fixes, email me
also, I can fix almost anything, just check Pojo
forums to see. Contact can also be made by
Private Messages on Pojo forums, I will reply as
soon as possible
By the way,
the Nightmare Penguin x2/D.D. Crow x2 is there
because I'm undecided on which is better.
Nightmare can help clear away s/t of your
opponent, but D.D. Crow will remove Treeborns
that come back freely after Levia's effect.
When dueling
with this deck, try to save the traps for after
Levia's effect if you can because then the
opponent will have nothing to do to be able to
save themself, especially if they're counting on
Raiza to return your Levia.
