Here is a quick rundown of the cards in the new set - Phantom Darkness

PTDN-JP003 Ultimate Gem Lord Rainbow Dark Dragon [Ultra Rare]
DARK/Dragon - Effect/10/4000/0
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play from your Graveyard 7 DARK monster with different names. You can remove from play all DARK monster you control and in your Graveyard except this card to increase the ATK of this card by 500 points per card removed in this way



PTDN-JP006 Yubel
DARK/Demon - Effect/10/0/0
This card is not destroyed by battle. If this face-up attack position card is attacked by your opponent's monster, the damage of the ATK of the attacking monster is inflicted to your opponent's Life Points. Battle Damage to the controller of this card as a result of this card battling becomes 0. During your End Phase, this card is destroyed, unless you tribute 1 monster you control. If this card is destroyed by an effect other than it's own, you can Special Summon 1 "Yubel - Das Abscheulich Ritter" from your hand, deck or Graveyard.

Battle Damage to the controller of this card as a result of this card battling becomes 0. During your Endphase, destroy all monster except this card. If this card is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Yubel - Das Extreme Traurig Drache" from your hand, deck or Graveyard.

Battle Damage to the controller of this card as a result of this card battling becomes 0

When this card is successfully Special Summoned, destroy 1 Magic or Trap Card on the field.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can be Special Summoned, when there are only 3 DARK (attribute) monster in your Graveyard. Remove 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard from play to destroy 1 card on the field

When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned, you can select 1 DARK monster from your own deck and send it to the Graveyard.

This card can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon, and only with the monsters above. Once per turn, you can activate one of the following effects:
- Send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard to return all monsters your opponent controls to their owner's deck
- Send 1 Magic or Trap card you control to the Graveyard to return all Magic and Trap cards your opponent controls to their owner's deck
- Send the top card of your own deck to the Graveyard to return all cards in your opponent's Graveyard to their owner's deck

Equip Magic
Equip only to a Fusion Monster that lists "Elemental Hero Neos" as a Fusion Material. The Fusion Monster equipped with this card doesn't have to activate its effect that returns it to the deck during the End Phase. When the equipped monster is removed from the field, you can Special Summon 1 "Elemental Hero Neos" from your deck, hand or Graveyard.

Activate by sending all cards in your hand to the Graveyard. Remove 5 Magic or Trap card in your deck from play. Each time your opponent activates a Magic card, put 1 Chronicle Counter on this card. You can remove 2 Chronicle Counter from this card to have you opponent select one of the cards removed from play by this card's effect and add the selected card to your hand. When this card is removed from the field, you take 500 damage for each card that is (still) removed from play by this card's effect

i think this new set will clearly define the next Ban - list, as well as the next metagame. A lot of people are running dark as they are in Japan, where they already have realeased the new set. Also my presonal opinion is what really does it for me is the card realeased in Gladiators Assult, Dark viel, which is basically a continuous gracefull charity except only for DARK monsters. I know alot of the cards in the set will make my deck probabbly DARK will be my new theme, especially with the realease of the new monarch.
