Deck Fix: Macro - Master of Shadows
Hello,
once again, everyone. I have another deck fix for
you all, so let's get to it.
Hello, my friends call me Dendai, like DBZ. Anyways,
I have a Macro's Deck I have been playing for
someime now and would like your expert opinion on
how to maybe improve it. My deck consist of 43 cards
and a 15 card side-deck. When the right cards are
drawn, it is hard to be beaten, but that is how must
GOOD decks are built. I think I need more drawing
power, or some kind of way to get my cards out when
I ned them. I lose alot to decks that can easily
special summon or can increase their ATK
points. I am a casual player and don't over-extend
my hand, but I love to end games quickly before my
oppenent can set up his field. I was maybe thinking
of adding a Crush Card Virus for those high ATK
monsters. Can you help me put together a more
versatile deck and a solid side deck. Thanks for
your assistance.
Dendai

A Macro Cosmos deck, I see. Let's see what I can do
to this.
Cards to cut:
- 1 Exiled Force
- 2 Cyber Dragon
- 1 Morphing Jar
- 1 Smashing Ground
- 1 D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation
- 2 Dark Bribe
I cut 8 cards. That's not much. Exiled Force because
you have numerous cards that perform its job. Cyber
Dragon because, between D.D. Survivor and D.D. Scout
Plane, you'll almost always have a monster on the
field, meaning Cyber Dragon becomes useless.
Morphing Jar because I have a better alternative for
a spot of draw power. Smashing Ground because you
have multiple cards doing its job. D.D.R. because
you have Escape from the Dark Dimension here. I left
one D.D.R. in, though. (On the other hand, you could
leave both D.D.R. copies here and drop Escape.) Dark
Bribe was dropped in favor of more Solemn Judgments.
Cards to add:
+ 2 Cyber Valley
+ 1 Caius the Shadow Monarch
+ 1 Dimensional Fissure
+ 1 Macro Cosmos
+ 2 Solemn Judgment
I added 7, bringing you to 42. Cyber Valley for draw
power (best used with Brain Control or D.D. Survivor
/ Scout Plane). The third Caius because it's great
removal and naturally belongs here. Solemn Judgment
for better protection than Dark Bribe can provide.
Dimensional Fissure and Macro Cosmos to help you
draw them faster by increasing your chances of
drawing them and also making it easier to replace
them if your opponent gets rid of them.
I did what I could. Things seemed to be already put
together here. Try looking at many of the Macro
decks I've fixed so far. Maybe one of them holds
something that you could use. Enjoy.
That's about it for now. Comments, suggestions, etc.
