Sixth deck fix: D.D monarchs - lightedge
OK, people I was gone for a whole month, but
something frustrated me no one writes no one ask no
one anything about me or to me?!?, deeply hurt, ok
just kidding people. But now iam back, let`s get on
with the subject, of course since a lot of the deck
fixes I now are all more than 2 weeks old so I will
try to fix them as fast yet effective as possible,
and with every deck I will add crazy ideas for them
let`s get going here is the letter that was sent to
me: “My deck is centered around removing things and keeping control of the the duel. It has Cyber Vallys, Allure of Darkness, and a Morphing jar for draw. It has Dimensional Fissure, Macro Cosmos, and Banisher of the Radiance for removal. Mobius the Frost Monarch, thesalos the firestorm Monarch, and Caius the Shadow Monarch for control along with Gravekeeper's Spy for field presence and cyber dragons as well. It has D.D Survivors and soul exchange to bring out monarchs. Solemn Judgment to stop what ever. You would think it is good but I have never top 8 with it or got into prizes at regionals or locals. I would relay appreciate it if you help I have been playing for two years competily now and have not done any good. I have Problems with six Samerie and other monarch decks.

Ok this deck is pure marvelous, I haven`t the
slightest clue why you did not do well! Perhaps dead
draws? Perhaps opponent taking control faster? Well
the 2 crazy cards that iam going to add takes care
of both! But first let`s take out some cards begin
with monsters:
-1 D.D survivor: why? D.D scout plane is better.
-2 Cyber dragon: iam not really one for cyber
dragon, and also he has become quite useless because
he can`t stand up those DAD and gladiators and
lightsworns so really no point in keeping him.
Wow only 3 cards were cut, why only 3? Because the
monster lineup is already good, I thought about
taking out gravekeepers spy but it’s a high defender
even if the opponent manages to take it down you
will still be able to summon another and tribute it,
and you can special summon another one with book of
moon.
Now to the spells:
-2 enemy controller: I went around my head about 4
times trying to figure out if I should cut out 2 or
one of this card, because you have enough of attack
negating cards like book of moon and mirror and your
monsters can already take care of their own I chose
to take both of them out.
-1 dimensional fissure: I am taking one out to add
the third macro cosmos, because it removes all cards
not just monsters.
-1 shield crush: it`s good card that why iam adding
the upgraded verion of if which is smashing ground.
-2 soul exchange: I guess I taking it out because
you have enough field presence, also it takes away
your battle phase.
That enough of taking out spells now to the traps:
I guess there are no changes here.
That`s a grand total of 9 cards removes from the
deck I will add about 13 cards starting with the
monsters:
+3 D.D scout plane: it`s plane as day why I chose it
+1 Raiza the storm monarch: this is the most thing
that I was really confused about “ where is raiza??”
and I ask again where is it, raiza was lost but now
found his way to this deck, you know, it wasn`t
limited for nothing……
That is it for monsters looks like the 2 cards that
I was talking about weren`t monsters well…. They are
spells and here they are they both start with the
word chaos here they are:
+2 Chaos end: this card works wonders I have no idea
why nobody is using it, it`s very simple, it’s a
dark hole when you have 7 or more cards removed from
play, and thanks to the fast and the high removal
that you have its going to be easy to use it from
the start. And when you use it you probably won`t be
effected by it since all of your monsters come back.
+2Chaos greed: this card is a pot of greed when you
have 4 or more removed from play cards (is anyone
beginning to pick up a pattern? A dark hole and a
pot of greed), if you manage to play macro cosmos
from the start you will be able to use it with no
problems if not you could always use soul release if
you have a spell that you do not know how to remove
it, or even add spell striker if you are stuck with
dimensional fissure and no macros , if you wish to
add a third copy you can but you have to make room
for it I only added 2 because there simply was no
room for another copy.
+1 smashing ground: an upgraded version of shield
crush.
+2 soul
release: I doubt if 2 are too much……
The final trap card that I will add is return from
the different dimension which doesn`t need to be
explained.
Ok that brings the deck to the total of 42 cards. Ok
here are some of the cards that I wanted to add but
didn`t find room please keep them in mind:
+1 chaos greed
+2 foolish burial: when macro or fissure is on the
field the card goes from play whch you rationally
target D.D scout plane to special summon him during
every end phase.
Dimensional prison: note: that I didn`t select a
number for them.
