Deck Fix: Running on Batteries - Master of Shadows

Hello, everyone. Master of Shadows has yet another deck fix. I may have fixed a deck like this one already, but no two deck fixes are the same. Let's see what I do this time....

Hi, my name is Sean, and I have a problem that I hope you can help with.  I'm pretty low on funds, and so I am trying to find a deck that is worth putting all of my time and effort into.  I've seen a few batteryman ideas, and I thought the deck might be worth looking into.  The deck I have come up with seems like it should be pretty fast, but since I don't actually own most of the cards yet, I can't be sure.   It  focuses on getting batterymen into my graveyard with "Ryko" and then using "Inferno Reckless Summon" to go in for the one turn kill, while drawing all the time with "Card of Safe Return", or just removing them for "Batteryman Industrial Strength".  Any suggestions that you can give would be greatly appreciated, and I hope that you can find the time to help me.  Thanks!

 Batteryman Deck = 43 cards

Monsters = 21

X3 Batteryman AA
X3 Batteryman D
X3 Batteryman Industrial Strength
X3 Batteryman Micro-Cell
X3 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
X2 Guardian of Light
X2 The Creator
X1 Destiny Hero Disk Commander
X1 Sangan

Spells = 16

X3 Short Circuit
X3 Card of Safe Return
X2 Inferno Reckless Summon
X2 Trade-In
X2 Lightning Vortex
X1 Monster Reborn
X1 Premature Burial
X1 Heavy Storm
X1 Mystical Space Typhoon

Traps = 6

X3 Limit Reverse
X1 Portable Battery Pack
X1 Torrential Tribute
X1 Mystical Space Typhoon

The Batteryman deck. Lots of OTK potential. Lots of OTK potential no one wants to tap into. Lots of OTK potential that most people go for because a) they want something fun or b) they can't afford the ridiculous prices of the top decks. I'll bet at least 72% of us who like Batterymen fall in that second category, but that's neither here nor there.

Cards to cut:

- 2 The Creator

- 1 Destiny Hero - Disk Commander

- 1 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter

- 1 Limit Reverse

- 1 Portable Battery Pack / another Limit Reverse

Wow. Another small deck fix. Hmm. The Creator doesn't fit too well despite being a Thunder monster. Disk Commander is best used with something that can readily abuse it like a Perfect Circle deck or something to that effect. Ryko's only necessary at two here (even though it's not really necessary at all, but still....). Limit Reverse will be replaced with something else.

Cards to add:

+ 3 Battery Charger

+ 2 Hand Destruction

+ 1 The Calculator

I added 6 in, bringing you back to where you started. Battery Charger (which I can't believe you forgot - probably an oversight, which happens - I once left Heavy Storm out of a deck that needed it and once put two Snatch Steals in a deck because I thought I took the first one out already) is a staple card in Batteryman decks as it does for them what Limit Reverse does except it does it on your turn. Hand Destruction is to help run through your deck to get to what you need as well as dumping any in hand Batteryman AAs that you may wish to revive later with Battery Charger and Card of Safe Return. The Calculator is just there because of the swarm potential and adding that bit more attack power that you may need to finally crush your opponent. Of course, with so many Solemn Judgments running around, after they negate you once, it's pretty much game over as you should have more than enough attack power to end the game. The Calculator is just insult to injury. Replace it with another Hand Destruction if you wish.

Well, that's all I have. A small fix, but a very important fix. Sometimes, that's all it needs. I've built decks that would run just perfectly if I had a certain card to help things along. Okay, I'm off topic. Send everything to darkdestructionv30@yahoo.com

Until next time....
