Okay. A
Monarch deck. A somewhat
classic Monarch deck. This
should be fun.
Cards to
cut:
- 2 Cyber
Dragon
- 1 Neo-Spacian
Grand Mole
- 1
Morphing Jar
- 2
Elemental Hero Wildheart
- 1
Marshmallon
- 1
Scapegoat
- 1 Pot of
Avarice
- 1
Smashing Ground
I cut 10
cards from this deck. Cyber
Dragon because of the field
presence that you'll often
have with this deck because
of the Mystic Tomato (and
the other cards I'll be
adding). Grand Mole because
it takes away from a summon
that could be used for a
needed Monarch (best used
here as a side deck option).
Morphing Jar because I have
something else in mind.
Wildheart doesn't really
belong here. Marshmallon
because it, too, doesn't
really fit. Plus, it makes
it easier for Gladiator
Beast decks to get their
effects off (so does Spirit
Reaper, but that's
searchable by Mystic
Tomato). Scapegoat for the
same reason as Cyber Dragon
and to a lesser extent Grand
Mole. Pot of Avarice because
you really shouldn't need it
as by the time you fill your
Graveyard with 5 monsters
with this deck, the duel
should be over (hopefully
with you as the victor).
Smashing Ground because
there's another
alternative.
Cards to
add:
+ 1
Destiny Hero - Disk
Commander
+ 1
Destiny Hero - Fear Monger
+ 1
Destiny Hero - Dasher
+ 1 Enemy
Controller
+ 1
Lightning Vortex
+ 2
Reinforcement of the Army
+ 1
Foolish Burial
+ 2 Solemn
Judgment
I added 10
cards in. Disk Commander to
be abused with Fear Monger,
with Fear Monger able to
revive either Disk Commander
or Dasher. Dasher to drop a
monster when you need it.
It's not great for Monarchs,
but getting a 2400 attacker
on the field is nothing to
complain about. All the
Destiny Hero cards can be
searched by Stratos and
Reinforcement of the Army
(save Dasher who can only be
searched by the former).
Enemy Controller for some
protection. Lightning Vortex
to replace Smashing Ground.
Reinforcement of the Army to
search those cards out.
Foolish Burial to dump
Treeborn Frog, Dasher, or
Disk Commander. Solemn
Judgment to negate whatever
comes your way. (Dark Bribe
is an acceptable
substitute.)
There was
also another direction I
could've gone with the
deck's additions....
- 1
Elemental Hero Stratos
+ 2
Gravekeeper's Spy
+ 1
Gravekeeper's Guard
+ 2 Cyber
Valley
+ 2 Book
of Moon
+ 1
Lightning Vortex
+ 1 Enemy
Controller
+ 1
Bottomless Trap Hole
+ 2 Solemn
Judgment
I added 11
cards (actually 12 but one
was dropped). Gravekeeper's
Spy and Guard for Tribute
bait and field presence.
Cyber Valley for a bit of
draw power. If your opponent
attacks it, it becomes a
draw. If you opponent
doesn't, you can either
remove it and something else
for two cards or Tribute it
off for something. Book of
Moon to reuse Dekoichi and
your Gravekeeprs. Lightning
Vortex to replace Smashing
Ground. Enemy Controller for
more protection. Bottomless
Trap Hole and Solemn
Judgment to help shut your
opponent down.
Well,
that's about it. Good luck
with this. Comments, etc.

Until next
time....
