everyone. I have yet another deck fix for
you. Let's get right to it, shall we?
hello master of
shadows.
i'm a fairly new player to yugioh but i
got a little help from a friend when making
this deck. its basically a pyro deck but
with some of the volcanics added in..
i love the idea of blaze accelerator and
i think itsa really cool card. ( also looks
neat). i really don't have a lot of money
and i can't afford lots of expensive cards,
nearly all the cards i got are common.
i haven't got a volcanic rocket and i
doubt i will soon. would you be able to give
me some advise on this deck.

as i said before my friend helped me
make this deck, but i want to know.. what
would YOU change... add, or remove.. or
straight swap..
A Fire deck, huh? Hmm. We can fix this, so
why don't we?
Cards to extinguish:
- 1 Firestorm Prominence
- 2 Flame Ruler
- 1 Exiled Force
- 1 D.D. Warrior Lady
- 2 Cyber Dragon
- 1 Wild Fire
- 1 Pot of Avarice
- 2 Backfire
- 2 Sakuretsu Armor
I cut 13 cards from the
deck. Firestorm Prominence slows us down.
Flame Ruler was for Firestorm Prominence so
that has to go, too. Exiled Force and D.D.
Warrior Lady, while being very good cards,
aren't good cards in here. Same with Cyber
Dragon. Wild Fire is also a good card in
theory, but it takes away from what this
deck will aim to do. Pot of Avarice is best
used at one here because it can be a dead
draw very often. Backfire because we don't
really plan on having our Fire cards
destroyed, though it's good for the side
deck. Sakuretsu Armor because we have plenty
of options for keeping our cards and combo
safe.
Cards to ignite and use:
+ 3 UFO Turtle
+ 1 Volcanic Slicer
+ 3 Volcanic Hammerer
+ 2 Wave-Motion Cannon
+ 2 Messenger of Peace
+ 1 Level Limit - Area B
+ 1 Gravity Bind
I added in 13 cards,
leaving you at 40. Nice. UFO Turtle to
search out Solar Flare Dragon. The extra
Volcanic Slicer for a bit more Burn damage.
Volcanic Hammerer for the same. Wave-Motion
Cannon also for the same. The last cards are
for stalling and protection purposes,
forcing your opponent to either deal with
your monsters (that you can replace) or your
stall (letting your monsters do their
thing).
Other cards that can be
used:
Raging Flame Sprite -
attacks directly, increasing in attack each
time, useful if you can protect it for the
first two direct attacks. Searchable by UFO
Turtle.
Flame Spirit Ignis -
something like Volcanic Hammerer, inflicting
100 points of damage per Fire monster in the
Graveyard when you Tribute one off.
Searchable by UFO Turtle.
Inferno - Tribute bait,
extra monster on the field
Spirit of Flames - not
really recommended, but it's a strong
attacker when you can use it.
Des Koala - Burns for 400
points per card in the opponent's hand when
flipped, always welcome
Foolish Burial - useful to
put a Volcanic Shell or something in the
Graveyard.
Tremendous Fire - inflicts
1000 points of damage to the opponent as
well as 500 to you.
Ookazi - inflicts 800
Swords of Revealing Light
- opponent can't attack for 3 turns
Nightmare's Steelcage -
lesser version of Swords, neither player can
attack for 2 turns, not that you'll be
attacking, anyway.
Spiritual Fire Art -
Kurenai - Tribute off a Fire monster,
inflict damage equal to its original attack,
can be used on Volcanic Hammerer or
Thestalos for the most damage here
Just Desserts - inflicts
500 per opponent's monster
Ceasefire - flips all
monsters face up and hits for 500 per Effect
monster, which translates into "500 per
monster on the field" since very few decks
use Normal monsters
Secret Barrel - hits for
200 per card the opponent has (on field and
in hand)
Waboku / Threatening Roar
- temporary stall.
