deck fix #2 Zombie infection- a friend

Hello, my name is Carlos. I am running a total zombie infection deck that needs help.

I am preparing for a local tournament...most people run machines and monarch rush and some rfg...most of these decks I beat them 60-75 percent of the time. Most players are like Aggro too

 

Cool deck Carlos, this is an interesting way to use the explosive zombie theme. I find that even though deck devastation virus gives you all that information, it’s still not that useful considering that your zombie masters will take out those wimps anyhow. Anyway, I’ll start my initial analysis by looking at your monster line-up.

I have big problems with return zombie and despair from the dark. These cards seem pretty useless most of the time considering a zombie deck is made to keep a hand even after a swarm. With despair from the dark, not many cards these days can discard a card from your hand or from you deck, I only see him being special summoned by your book of life, which is cool. Since we won’t be using deck devastation virus, I think it would be wise to cut vampire lord, simply because he is far too weak, however vampire’s curse can be a viable target for EEV. Plague wolf will stay because it supports CCV. One of which is sangan, which I will be adding in. Snipe hunter will follow suit because it’s just so good. This deck also needs 2 goblin zombies, but I’m guessing you can only afford one so I’ll build it like that. Now onto the spells, the hardest part.

The only problem I see here is you don’t have 3 card of safe return, which is needed. I’ll be cutting the shield crush you have to fit in the 3^rd COSR, because with the two virus’, you’ll be able to see what the opponents monsters are, and if you should attack them or not. One other crazy change will be the addition of fires of doomsday; it will give your CCV fodder and tributes/blocking as a last resort. Those are the only changes I’ll make.

I did increase the deck size to 42 cards, my bad, but the Dustshoot/mind crush combo is just so potent these days, especially with your deck. Good luck in all your tournaments.
