What happened to Yu-gi-oh??? by: a disappointed player
While I was browsing the usual internet stores for
cards of interest the other day I thought to
myself," What happened to this game ". Judgement
Dragon is going anywhere from 140-180 dollars
nowadays. I remember when I could take a fire deck
to my local and top 3 almost ever time. Now it seems
if you don't have the money to fork out on all the
new secret rares you don't stand a snow balls chance
in hell of winning anywhere. The fun of Yu-gi-oh is
lost to me. When I go to a local and loose for the
100th time to a DaD deck it gets old. I don't know
what everyone else thinks but I think my days of
yu-gi-oh are numbered. I can not afford the
redicously priced cards that you need to have to be
competive in this game. I don't know what Konami was
thinking when they reinstated the secret rare. With
the current economic problems in the United States
you think they would try to make Yu-gi-oh a more
affordable hobby. It seems the opposite to me.
Unless Konami wises up and either bans the broken
cards of our current format or trashes the secret
rare again I will be hanging my deck up.
