Twilight Monarch - Zarchary Tjok
Alright I know I'm late and yes I
knew this for awhile but the new ban list for Sept 9
is out and I decided to try out a fun new idea of
making another monarch deck that is out of the box
(hopefully), Twilight Monarch. Just to let people
know that "Twilight" doesn't mean lightsworns... it
means that the deck is built of light and dark
monsters. And with that cleared up here is the
build.

I decided to only focus my power on Caius and Zaborg
since they are the only good light/dark monarchs.
Kuarz is a light monarch but he really sux when it
comes to it being palyed. Since it does get to
destory up to 2 cards however, the owner's card that
gets destoried gets to draw a card as well as the
fact that Kuraz can't atk the turn that it is
summoned. Like usual Caius is usually saved for the
backfield when one feels like it is a treat and
Zaborg is for of course destorying monsters. And
with cards like Marshmallon, Arcane Force 0,
Treeborn, and Spys it won't be a trouble to get out
the Monarchs.
The 2nd focus of this deck is Chaos Socerer and Dark
Armed Dragon with the ability of Chaos Socerer to be
special summoned to the field by removing 1 dark and
light frm the grave it is easily pulled out and a
deadly card. With the ability to remove from play a
face up monster this card can change the out take of
a duel around. Such as removing LS Judgement from
the field or Blackwings Armor Master or weakening
the power of Glads field pressence. And if that's
not enough u can tribute your CS for a moanrch which
isn't recommanded but when in desperate times or in
need of that 1k or less life point dmg. However, CS
role in the deck isn't just to pop out and be a
remover or a beat stick, when he allows one to
manipulate the palyer's graveyard allowing DAD to be
easily played within the deck.
Traps and Spells aren't really heavily depanded on
so cold waves and other cards to prevent
spells/traps from doing thier job won't turn the
deck too much. 2 Foolish Burial is a great idea to
pop that Treeborn Frog for tributing or dark/light
monster that is need to get a CS or DAD out on the
field.
Now the side deck may look like are you insane. You
got 2 Zombie Worlds in it that would kill monarchs.
Which is mainly used against other Monarch decks
since they usually will run up to like 9 monarchs
which basically makes about 1/4 of their deck
useless. As well as the fact that this deck runs 2
Krebons, 1 Gale, and 1 Plague (usually when you side
deck ZW) plus the power of the special summoning
mosnters. It makes other moanrch deck cry until they
are able to get rid of the ZW. Prohibition are for
those nasty cards like War Chariot for Glads,
Blackwhirl Wind for Blackwings and whatever card one
finds the most destructive. I sided 2 Necro Gardna
because I know that they will be a great combination
to this deck. But at the moment I jsut don't know
which 2 cards I should drop to pop these sucks in
which will provide further more graveyard
manipulation for DAD as well as a good protecter
from those deadly atks.
I could talk on and on about the feature of this
deck but I find this tip to be getting very long so
I'll end it here and if you wish to know more I
would gladly answer any questions that one has. It
might take me awhile to reply back since I'm busy at
times but I'll try to respond as fast as I can.
