Card Game Tips from fans
Starter Decks: Dark Legion & Saber Force (Short Review)
These
two decks have a lot more in common than they do in
contrast.
If you like LIGHT monsters, go with Saber
Force.
If you like DARK monsters, go with Dark Legion.
Both will provide you with the same essential
elements of dueling, regardless.
Both
decks provide you with basic beater monsters (LV4,
1800+), defenders (LV4, 2000 DEF) and flip effect
monsters with low stats but useful effects.
Though neither of the cover monsters are
good.
And
with the spell/trap cards, you have a variety of
cards that remove monsters, remove spells/traps,
revive your monsters, make them stronger and so
forth.
Both decks largely have the same Spell/Trap lineup.
It's everything you need to learn the basics.
Many of
the cards in this deck were really good years ago
(like Dust Tornado and Cyber Dragon) but aren't that
competitive now.
I remember when the first Yugi and Kaiba
starter decks came out.
They were so imbalanced and unplayable.
these decks are ready to play out of the box
for casual play.
Bottom
Line - This has little to offer veterans of the game
but it's great for beginners.
PARENTS
- If your child is a beginner of the game, this
would be good for them.
If your child is well-versed in the game and
you want to get them a $10 gift, get them the "Realm
of Light Structure Deck" instead.
