Hello Pojo Fans,
Elder Entity N'tss has been a hyped Fusion monster,
almost as hyped as it's predasessor: Elder Entity
Norden.
A Synchro and Xyz for N'tss to be Summoned, she
can't be summoned the same broken way Norden was
with Instant Fusion. However, sending monsters to
the grave isn't a hard thing to do, and can help
avoid grave-triggering effects off destruction if
you have stolen your opponents monsters. N'tss gives
you Norden's same effect, however, it's once per
turn, from the hand, and no effects are negated.
While the grave may be better to source a Level 4 or
lower from at times, getting the monster's effect is
much better. Also, Norden was once, N'tss is once
per turn. At 2500 ATK you may have N'tss for a few
turns. She's a LIGHT, making her fodder for removal,
and she's a Fairy-Type, giving her all kinds of
support after she leaves the field. If she hits the
grave you can destroy any card on the field. Only
one N'tss is allowed per turn, but with the new
rules that shouldn't be a problem.
The new rules make it hard for you to summer her at
all. You need a Link Monster to open up slots for an
Xyz and a Synchro monster to exist. Then, you have
to commit resources to send to the grave to Summon
N'tss. If you can't do that, or if your grave is not
an option, then N'tss is not an option.
Without the Link Format rules, N'tss would be as
hyped of a card as she was before. Now, she's been
nerfed because of the rules.

The sister of Elder Entity Norden has arrived,
say hello to Elder Entity Ntss.
Elder Entity Ntss requires a Synchro monster and
a XYZ monster and can only be Fusion Summoned from
the Extra Deck by sending the Fusion Materials to
the GY, no Polymerization needed. Idk how easy this
will be to summon, especially in Link Era. Getting a
Synchro and XYZ out at the same time can be hard
unless you use something like PSY-Framelord Omega
one turn and XYZ summon the other. Once per turn,
you can Special Summon a Level 4 monster from the
hand. Easy Rank 4 plays or Level 8 Synchro plays,
but I don't think two Extra Deck monsters is worth
one. Also, if this card is sent to the GY, from
anywhere, you can destroy a card on the field. Play
your Mega Zaborgs and Infernoid Tierras ready, you
got some popping to do. You can only Special Summon
Elder Entity Ntss once per turn, but I doubt you
will summon more than one anyways.
I feel they made this card to overcompensate for
Elder Entity Norden, who was very powerful. I feel
they did too much and you are likely only seeing
this played in Monarchs and Infernoids only due to
the destruction effect, which is still pretty good.

This card likely could/would be broken if not for
the last line of text, that you can only Special
Summon of these a turn. If you could bring out 3,
you could have FIVE Monsters on the Field, in one
turn, and what you could do with five Level 4
Monsters opens up lots of OTK/FTK possibilities, no?
Note too how unique this summoning is here too, one
generic Synchro Monster, and one generic XYZ
Monster, which one might think would be enough to
not have to warrant the stipulation at the end, but
I digress. Light is still good, 2500 attack on a
Level 4 is awesome, and you don't need Poly to
Summon this, so those are all pluses immediately.
Once a turn, you can Special Summon a Level 4
Monster to your Hand. (In my opinion, from the Deck,
then Hand, and finally Graveyard is the best order,
but this also helps keep the card from being
overpowered). Also, the card is a 1-for-1 when
destroyed (assuming it goes to the Graveyard)
because you then can target and destroy one card on
the Field. I like this, a lot.

Elder Entity N'tss
The first time I heard of this card was when
Monarchs were all the rage and the effectiveness of
Mega Zaborg against Burning Abyss or basically any
Extra Deck dependant Deck... Cough Paleozoics... was
something to behold... For the OCG (although from
what I follow of the OCG, which is admittedly very
little, to me it certainly appeared so).
And because of Elder Entity N'tss, going second
and opening up with a successful Mega Zaborg "Bomb"
is potentially even better than going first.
Sadly, for Monarchs their Threat level is now rather
low, and the inclusion of Elder Entity N'tss to a
Monarch Extra Deck does little to actually increase
their overall strength and effectiveness against
anything Meta.
Now, lets look at how we Summon this "Beastie"...
First we require 1 Xyz monster and then 1 Synchro
monster, of which the Xyz requirement is rather easy
since currently the entire game revolves around
Xyz'ing this or Xyz'ing that. However because
Synchro's are played less often, getting a Synchro
monster will be a little more difficult. Then, once
we have acquired the 2 necessary types we are able
to simply send those 2 to the Graveyard without
requiring Polymerization or proxy, helping to even
up the cost of Summoning.
Then once during a turn you are able to Special
Summon a Level 4 monster from your hand, although
note that it says "Level 4" so it could potentially
be restrictive for those times that you don't
actually have a Level 4 to Summon via the effect.
Most naturally, (as I see it) you will then proceed
to either Xyz with this for a Rank 4 or Synchro with
it for a Level 8, although it could be noted that it
does have a decent enough attack, and the
destruction effect can be nice to hold until your
opponent's turn, as long as you don't Synchro with
it... That is unless you actually want to destroy
something with its effect right away.
As for the destruction when sent to the Graveyard
effect, this in many ways is its most valuable
effect, for as mentioned above, when you Summon Mega
Zaborg (and then resolve the effect) you then get to
send that many Extra Deck monsters from your own
Extra Deck to the Graveyard, and for each Elder
Entity N'tss sent you will be able to destroy 1
card, which means that the potential cost of
Summoning that Mega Zaborg is very easily repaid in
full. And any effect that will send this from the
Extra Deck to the Graveyard will activate its
effect, this means that Gale Dogra can have a use
and although Nekroz are pretty tame right now (due
to the Banlist), they are still able to use Elder
Entity N'tss via Nekroz Kaleidoscope to Summon
Nekroz Unicore, adding another option to that Summon
other than sending Herald of the Arc Light.
And most importantly of all, Elder Entity N'tss
CANNOT be Summoned via Instant Fusion, so no ability
to cheat there!
The only option available to lessen the cost to
Summon this would be to steal an opponent's monster
with Mind Control or Enemy Controller. But chances
are you'll be the one needing to provide the Synchro
monster.
Rating: 3.5. The fact that the destruction effect
triggers when sent to the Graveyard means that you
can simply send it straight from your Extra Deck to
the Graveyard or detach it from an Xyz and get the
effect, making it very difficult to actually miss
out on this part of the effect, which to me is the
cards most valuable one. And this is the reason I
have given this score, since when and where it will
be used will certainly be one where the use of this
effect is of importance. The Summoning of Elder
Entity N'tss is probably always going to be a bit
difficult, especially with Links. The ability to
Special Summon a Level 4 from hand could have some
applications, although I suspect that Summoning this
will in many instances simply be a stepping stone
onto a larger play.
