Magician’s Dungeon Dice Monster Team

Yep – I love Magicians, so as my first article for this week, I thought we look at a possibly Magician team.

Team Breakdown:
Dark Paladin
Dark Magician x2
Skilled Dark Magician x3
Breaker, the Magical Warrior
Chaos Command Magician
Magical Dimension x2

Ok, so that’s the team. Now, these guys need effects. What COULD they be???

Dark Magician:
Level 4 Summoning.
HP: 30/ATL: 40/DEF: 20

Pretty simple, since he was already created. Now here is the tricky part.

Dark Paladin:
Level 4 Summoning.
HP: 40/ATK: 40/DEF: 40

Effect:
When you summon this piece, you may move it two free squares. Also, for every “Dark Magician” in play, this piece gains 10 more ATK and DEF points. After this piece battles three times, destroy this piece. Dark Paladin may not attack your opponent directly.

I needed to make a side effect for this guy, since, well, he’d just be TOO powerful.

Skilled Dark Magician:
LV 2 Summoning
HP: 30/ATK: 20/DEF: 20

Effect:
While this piece is on the field, all “Dark Magicians” gain 10 ATK and DEF points.

I made him like that so that Magical Dimension would play a bigger role in Dungeon Dice Monsters.

Breaker, the Magical Warrior:
Level 3 Summoning
HP: 30/ATK: 30/DEF: 20

Effect:
You may destroy 1 Item on the field. If you do, subtract 10 ATK points from Breaker, the Magical Warrior.

I tried to tie him in with the game, so kill off an Item, and he loses 10 attack points. Not too bad.

Chaos Command Magician:
Level 4 Summoning
HP: 30/ATK: 30/DEF: 10

Effect:
“Chaos Command Magician” is not affected by Items.

In the game, he is not affected by Spells. So here, Items do not affect him, but his defense is low.

Magical Dimension:
Item
Level 3 Summoning

Effect:
You may sacrifice this piece to summon 1 “Dark Magician” from your Dice Pool.

What Magician team would be complete WITHOUT this???
