Look Into the Future
Japanese Cards Release Information
First of all, there will
be a new Collector's Tin coming out, supposedly
scheduled to be released on January 22nd of next year.
It is said to include one pack of each of the following
sets;
305, 306, 307, 308, DL3, DL4, DL5
And it will also include 1 Ultimate Rare Chaos
Emperor Dragon.
*For those who don’t
know, Ultimate Rares are the highest Japanese rarity.
They usually come about 1 in every 90 packs of the sets
they come in, or 1 in every 3 boxes. They are cards with
a relief (3d-like) effect throughout the whole card,
with relief-holofoil pictures, Type-Circles, and Level
Circles. Very cool-looking cards. I have scans of a few
of them in some of my articles in which I scanned my
Ultimate Rares.*
Structure Deck Deluxe Set: Box set with Yugi and
Jounouchi Structure Decks, both Volume 2, 1 pack each of
DL1, DL2, DL3, DL4, and DL5 sets, 100 card protectors
(50 Red Metallic, 50 Green Metallic), all along with an
Ultimate Rare Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, all stored in 2
Duelist Stock Cases, is scheduled to be released on
December 18th. Retail value: ¥2980. (Just over US$27 -
Very good price)
Kaiba Structure Deck Volume 2: There will be an
alternate-art XYZ-Dragon Cannon card included, among 1
brand new (unconfirmed) card, as well as plenty of other
cards just as the other Structures include. Set to be
released on December 11th.
The next Japanese set, 309, will be called
Pharaonic Heritage, and it will be released on
February 26th, 2004. It is said to include Ancient
Egyptian cards; cards related to the Graveyard and
countering Hand Destruction.
Also, the new Beginner's Pack that will be coming
out soon is said to include a full set of Exodia Cards,
among quite a bit more (not exactly sure what else), and
the retail value on that will be ¥6800, which is about
US$62.50.
And one last new bit of information.. EX-3 (DM9 for
GBA) will be including the following 3 cards. Thanks

Emesu the Infinity
Light/Machine - Level 8 - 2500/2000
Effect: Whenever this Monster destroys a Monster in
Battle, this Monster's ATK is (permanently) raised by
700 points.
Dimensional Assailant
Earth/Warrior - Level 4 - 1700/1600
Effect: When this card is destroyed during battle by an
opponent's Monster, remove this and the opposing Monster
from the Game.
Twin-Headed Flame
Beast
Fire/Beast - Level 6 - 1700/1900
Effect: This Monster can attack twice during the Battle
Phase.
