March 20, 2006
I promised you one of the
most difficult decks ever to construct, and right here,
right now I hope to live up to that promise. If you haven’t
figured it out, im going to try and construct a Trinity deck
™, one utilizing all 3 Demons.
An impossible feat huh? Yeah, im gonna say it probably is.
For this deck though, im going to use the NEW ban list, a
topic I will discuss in further detail later.
My last articles received varied responses, as well as tips
on card combos like Convulsion of Nature and Archfiends
oath., as well as Labyrinth of Nightmare for Hamon.
Well, here we have it. These new Demons posses a variety of
different abilities that can all make them worthwhile. Each
card used has been discussed thoroughly between all my
previous articles, and I hope to get this one wrapped up
quickly so here we go :
Tributes ;
Hamon the Lord of Striking Thunder
Raviel the lord of Phantasms
Uria the lord of Searing Flames
Low Level :
Giant Germ (x3)
Sangan
Magician of Faith (x2)
Morphing Jar
Breaker the Magical Warrior
Newdoria (x3)
Malice Doll of Demise (x3)
Spirit Reaper
Goblin Elite Attack force (x2)
Spells :
Ectoplasmer (x2)
Graceful Charity
Nobleman of Crossout(x2)
Giant Trunade (x3)
Premature burial
Messenger of Peace (x3)
Traps ;
Call of the Haunted
Mirror Force
Royal Decree (x2)
Pole position (x2)
Robbin Goblin
Fairy Box
On the whole, not a very advanced deck. The problem with it
is that in order to prevent conflicting themes, only certain
cards can be incorporated, which is unfortunate. Still,
there are some advantages that I feel are worthwhile :
Giant Trunade is a great tech though and a must have over
heavy storm as it can be used in conjunction with these
continuous cards as well as protect the 3 demons.
The Malice Doll, / Ectoplasmer combo helps both Hamon and
Raviel, providing continuous Magics and Fiends for Tribute.
As well as clearing the field of opposing monsters.
Nobleman of Crossout is a powerful card, and a great way
around many threats or nuisances that pester these Demons.
Messenger of Peace is great stall, and can be bounced back
with Giant Trunade when needs be.
The continuous spell count is low, but that is greatly
supported by Magician of Faith.
With 1200 atk, Newdorias is just small enough to fit under
the Messenger to either do some minor Damage, or Kill
monsters.
Royal Decree can hurt this deck as much as it helps it, but
in the right situation is devastating as the opponent will
more than likely not be able to handle the super powered
monsters they will have to face.
Pole position is great, giving the obvious highest attack
monsters protection and immunity from spell cards. Obviously
this would be better if it could be used in conjunction with
Decree, but it cant. Still, both are great as the benefit
each Demon, as well as being continuous traps.
Robbin Goblin essentially makes each Demon essentially a
4000 atk Don Zaloog, and however unlikely that may be, I
still consider it a worthwhile addition to the deck.
Fairy box is very good, and a great method of stall. It
requires a minor cost in order to be performed , and has the
most devastating, and frustrating effects in the game.
This deck is nothing short of unstable, but what can you
expect when mixing all these volatile ingredients? I think
if ever someone wanted to build a deck of this sort, they
should try this out as a blueprint . It’ll be hard to do
much else.
Well that’s it for decks from me with deck fixes for a
while. Im finally going to get back to articles and my
first, thoughts on the new list. Enjoy.
