Dueling Dome
Things in Thongs spilling out of your hand
March 8, 2006
Greetings one and all, im
back again , this time delivering some Ojama magic, as
promised. My last decks both received some positive applause
to say the least, and im very grateful. Remember, if you
have something to say or to add to my deck, I wanna hear it.
Well anyway, back to the madness.
The Ojamas are a unique to say the least , group of cards
that were introduced to us a while ago. They come in a
variety of colours, 3 in fact, Yellow, Black and Green, (my
favourite of which being the later) which, coincidently or
otherwise, are all named in accordance with this colour.
Each Ojama has virtually identical everything, and the only
thing to change between all 3 of them is the art and name.
However, they aren’t built for attacking as each has a 0
attack score. They are scarcely able to defend either, with
each only having paltry 1000 def which only just survives an
onslaught from a Sangan. So what use are these tiny critters
, however collectable they may be if they refuse to attack
or defend? Well, I’ll tell you. The purpose of such a deck
can be explained quite simply by the Ojamas themselves, as
each of these Level 2, Normal, Beast Types sport not only
the same pair of fantastic red thongs, they also have this
intriguing flavour text :
‘He’s one of the Ojama Trio. It’s said that he butts in by
any means necessary. It’s also said that when the three are
together, something happens. ‘
This is true, something VERY special happens. You see , the
Ojamas specifically have been given a lot of support over
the last few months :
Ojama Delta Hurricane ;
This is a very powerful card, destroying all opposing cards
when you have one of each of the Ojamas on the field.
Situational, but especially do able in this deck.
Ojamagic :
A useful card allowing for you to search for one of each of
the Ojamas and Add them to your hand when this card is sent
to the grave from the field or hand. Very effective and , as
this deck will show you, very abusable.
Ojama King
The grand daddy of em all, the Ojama King. We all saw this
coming . Ojama King is the fusion of the 3 Ojamas, not a
difficult thing to do with those Ojamagics flying all over
the place. Ojama king sports 2 thongs, as well as an
impressive 3000 def, but again no attack. . He also does not
allow the opponent to place a monster in 3 of their monster
zones as long as he is face up. A handy little effect to say
the least.
Ojamuscle
Ojamuscle is a card that easily beefs up the Ojama king
specifically by destroying all other Ojama monsters and
permanently increasing his attack by 1000 for each one, so
potentially 4000 attack, which isn’t bad.
Ojama Trio
This is a really annoying and effective card for filling up
opposing monster zones . You basically give them 3 Ojamas
which cant be tributed and that inflict 300 damage to the
opponent when they are destroyed. A handy effect to have on
your side, especially when combo’d with Ojama King
successfully.
The League of Uniform Nomenclature
Avery handy card that basically allows for a bit of synergy
with Ojamuscle. Worth a try as it speeds up this crazy deck.
There are also cards in the current game which I think
really help this deck ;
Dark Factory of Mass production
An awesome card, selecting any two normal monsters from your
grave and adding them to your hand. Since all the Ojamas are
normal, this is a guaranteed 2 for 1.
Pot of Avarice ;
Ojamas will almost always have cards in the grave, cards
that are essential in the deck, and therefore need to be re
used. Pot of avarice will help with the obscene advantage
these cards can easily pull off , as well as re filling the
Ojama Reserves, ready for Ojamagic and Nomenclature.
Magical hats :
This is a very good card, protecting you from 3 attacks,
reducing your deck size, allowing for flip effects to be
reused, sparing you like points as well as screaming sheer
abuse with Ojamagic. This combo will do all of the above, as
well as provide you with 6 new cards regardless of whether
they even attack or not. Absolutely gorgeous , and the main
reason Pot of Avarice is needed so badly as you can clear
your entire Ojama reserve in one turn with this.
Ground collapse ;
To put it simple, abuse this and Ojama King together for a
fun as hell time. The no summoning lock is pretty sweet.
Enchanting fitting Room ;
A pretty much Ojama oriented card. Using this could result
in 4 Ojamas being summoned in one turn for a measly 800 lp.
Worthwhile.
So, with all these Ojamas bouncing around the place, and
especially with all these high advantage combo’s, its almost
a cert that your hand will quite often be full to bursting.
Also, the opponent will be restricted in the moves they can
do by the super Ojama King . The problem is, asides from the
Ojama King / Ojamuscle combo, what else can be done with all
these Ojamas?
Well, not much really. As far as offence goes, the Ojamas
haven’t a lot going for them except stall, and that’s where
the burn aspect comes in.
By using cards like Wave motion cannon, and Stealth bird,
mega damage can be dealt, whilst staying true to the Ojama
theme. So here it is , I present to you the Ojama deck in
all its glory, however I do suggest its only used in casual.
Bad top decks are DEFINITELY going to happen.
Fusions :
Ojama King (x3)

Ojama green (x3)
Ojama Yellow (x3)
Ojama Black (x3)
Magician of Faith
Stealth Bird (x3)
