7 Trials to Glory Final Update
6.01.05
Hello again to Pojo and Yugioh fans one and all!
Today, I come to you with a final report on the newest
Yugioh video game, 7 Trials to Glory. I've had the game
beaten for quite sometime, and decided to post the rest of
what I've found about the game. For those of you (if any)
who haven't yet beaten the game, then I hope you find this
useful.
Technically, you can or even you must beat the game twice,
but this happens in two very different ways. The first way
is by beating the Kaiba Corporation Tournament.
This tournament is fairly difficult. It involves all the
main character duelists from the anime. So you duel Rex,
Weevil, Mai, Mako, Yugi (not Yami), and finally Seto Kaiba.
After you beat Seto Kaiba, you win his tournament and then
the screen goes black. Then Yami Yugi appears and says he
senses an evil (or something to that
effect.) Marik appears as does Yami Bakura and they say
something, sorry, I don't really remember what.
After this happens, the game credits pass and then you are
told what percent of the game you have complete at the time.
I think mine was 63.9%. Now, some really cool things happen.
You're giving a new area with new duelists. It's listed
simply as ??? but it's a land in the sky where all the Rare
Hunters are. All the anime Rare Hunters are here including
Marik, Odion, Strings, Lumis & Umbra, Arkana, and the
nameless Rare Hunter with the Exodia deck. Plus, there are a
bunch of other Rare Hunters as well.
Secondly, the rules of the other duel places don't apply up
here. Whatever card or cards are banned for the week do NOT
apply up here. You may use 3 copies of banned, restricted,
or even semi-restricted cards, but be warned, so can anyone
else dueling up there.
Thirdly, there is a card tent run by various Rare Hunters on
the left side once you enter this land, but it's only there
occassionaly. A Lumis & Umbra/Odion starter is available
depending on which is running the shop. Plus, 2 very
expensive miscellaneous packs. There's also another password
machine in here, but it costs 10000 DP unlike the one that
costs 1000 in Grandpa's Card Shop.
Fourthly, there is a tournament held in this area as well.
It's called a "Survivor Match" and is EXTREMELY difficult.
You duel EVERY Rare Hunter from the TV show, then Marik, and
finally Yami Bakura. If you manage to defeat all them, you
win. However, it costs 8000 DP to enter and if that isn't
bad enough there is one terrible catch. You're remaining
Lifepoitns carry over duel after duel so while your opponent
always starts with 8000 points, you could be at 100 or even
less. All the Rare Hunters like to pack 3 Mirror Forces and
usually 2 or 3 Ring of Destructions.
So, you get 100% game completion after beating every duelist
at least once, getting one of every card, and winning the
K.C. Tournament, the Weekend Tourament, and the Survival
Match at least once.
Finally, this is for you fans (including myself) of Ryoga's
puzzle's. After you beat the Kaiba Corp. Tournament, Kaiba
appears in the little dome inner area every Friday and has a
puzzle for you just like Ryoga would make.
Well, I hope you all enjoyed this, and I hope it helped
someone.
You stay classy, Planet Earth :)
~Dark Paladin~
