Dark Paladin's Yu-Gi-Oh! Dimension
Deck Types to Try Using
11.19.05
Hello again to Pojo and Yugioh fans one and all...this may
be the only article I put out this week on accounts of I'm
going far away to a place with no internet access for
Thanksgiving. I'll try to put one up on Wednesday though
too.
Anyway, today I'm going to try and convince you all to start
using some interesting decktypes that don't get the play
they necessarily deserve, or are just fun and you should go
ahead and try them out.
First deck: Lifepoint gain
Now, here, the most two popular options are Fire Princess
(which is a separate decktype in itself) and the other
obvious choice is an Agent deck based on all the lovely
fairies of Ancient Sanctuary (which ALMOST is another
decktype too). While neither deck may be too successful in
tournament play, go ahead and build one anyway.
Second deck: Trample
Trample decks are very fun to use and have many excellent
choices.
Four excellent trample cards include (but aren't limited to
the
following): Airknight Parshath, Dark Driceratops, Big Bang
Shot, and Fairy Meteor Crush. Trample is a fun and
devestating surprise to your opponent and this is another
fun deck to try.
Third deck: Water/A Legendary Ocean
Water/A Legendary Ocean decks aren't necessarily
underplayed, but it would be so sweet to see one of the
above decks become the top Tier 1 deck. The deck if properly
constructed is incredibly powerful and is a deck more people
should consider using.
My point is this: Next time you go to a tournament, build
one of these decks, or one that's completely original and
HAVE FUN! Remember, the point of this game, along with any
others, is just to have fun.
Winning is just an added bonus. The experience you gain is
more valuable than ANY win, and this is true from the most
experienced player, up to and including the World Champ.
Happy Thanksgiving to all if I don't get back before then,
and that does it for today!

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)
