Pojo Note: This was originally written on Valentines Day.  I just got it posted though.

Hello again to pojo and yugioh fans one and all!

I have a couple of things I'd like to say before I start with this article.
First off, it seems my trivia question was a bit too easy. Also, I'll post the names of ANYONE who gets them right, not just the first three. If you took the time to look it up, I can take the time to acknowledge you :)

I received correct answers from the following people:

ReturnOfStarterDecks
Kyle Johnson
Richard Posey
Chris Colan
JJ
Kyle Theaker
Chris Angeles

Congrats to all of you!

Secondly,

Today, I was reading JAELOVE's new article, which was good as always and I was touched by something at the end. I completely agree with all he said, if only because it's true. Thank you Jaelove for bringing this to our attention and trying to keep this all public knowledge. My hat is off to you *takes hat off for Jaelove* Seriously though, I pledge to be a defender of the game with you.
He makes so many good points and is such an awesome person. Keep up the awesome work :) !!!

Thirdly,

Happy VALENTINE'S DAY! For those of you with a boyfriend or girlfriend, do something special for them today. All of you, call your parents, and wish them the same. Send them a card, just acknowledge them. For all those who may want to know. Dark Paladin is single, and I'm spending my day at school and my night at work :)

Now, today, I come to you with a very special and unique deck-type. This deck wasn't even created by me. Honestly, I didn't even THINK about creating this deck. However, it does have some potential. I received this in an e-mail of someone who just wanted to share his girlfriend's deck. She calls it "Exodia's Destiny" because it contains Exodia and Destiny Board! Two instant wins in one deck, now that's bold and pretty daring if I may say so.

Here is "Raven's" decklist.

Monsters

Exodia the Forbidden One
Left Arm of the Forbidden One
Right Arm of the Forbidden One
Left Leg of the Forbidden One
Right Leg of the Forbidden One
Fiber Jar
Guardian Sphinx
Morphing Jar
Emissary of the Afterlife
Injection Fairy Lily
Nimble Momonga x3

Spells

Spirit Message I x2
Spirit Message N x2
Spirit Message A x2
Spirit Message L x2
Monster Reincarnation
Painful Choice
Mystical Space Typhoon
Swords of Revealing Light

Traps

Destiny Board x3
Waboku x2
Hallowed Life Barrier
Backup Soldier x2
Torrential Tribute
Raigeki Break
Thunder of Ruler x3

Now, personally, I absolutely love this deck and would love to see it go places.
I believe if used properly, this deck has A LOT of potential. Also, as for originality which has been lacking in Yugioh since Chaos monsters, this deck gets about oh...a 157.5 out of 10 for originalitiy. Well done to "Raven" and her deck-building. Keep up the good work and let me know how this deck fares for you.

As for today's piece of my article, I simply have a question. I have several deck ideas on the works and would like to know you're opinions. Whether or not you would like to see them constructed and the like. The following deck types
are:

Lifepoint maintenance and gaining deck
A wind beatdown deck
Fire deck

Those are just some ideas I have for now. Now, I'm going to look at a couple of cards seen used on the anime and discuss them as character cards. I'll try to do this occassionally, similar to how DM7FGD use too. May I be worthy of DM7FGD, and I'll try to never disappoint you.

I am a huge fan of the anime and was interested by a card used by Duke Devlin a couple of weeks ago.

Summon Dice

"Now I activate my Summon Dice magic card!" exclaimed Duke "but before I can use it, I have to pay 1000 lifepoints."

Duke Thinking: If I roll a 1 or a 2, I can summon two monsters in one turn. If I roll a 3 or a 4, I can summon a monster in my graveyard. But I'm really hoping for a 5 or a 6.

"Oh, yeah! Now I can summon a powerful monster without sacrificing for it!
Meet Orgoth the Relentless"

Summon Dice
Normal Spell

Effect: Pay 1000 lifepoints. Roll a 6 sided die. If the result is a one or a two, you can perform an extra summon during your current turn. If the result is a three or a four, you can summon a monster from your graveyard. If the result is a five or a six, you can summon a tribute monster without tribute.
(The tribute monster must be able to be summoned normally. This EXCLUDES Gate Guardian and others)

Now, this is quite a nifly little card. 1000 lifepoints may seem like a steep price, and it very well could be. This card would probably be compared to 7 Tools of the Bandit. You give up 1000 lifepoints here also, but negating a trap is a lot better, then what this card could do! Right? Well, not necessarily. 1000 lifepoints for an extra summon is a bit steep since Ultimate Offering lets you do it for 500. It could be good in a tight situation though and you're opponent can't use it, like he or she can Ultimate Offering. 1000 lifepoints to summon a monster from your graveyard isn't terrible either.
Premature Burial asks for 800. But, Summon Dice has one up on Premature Burial an Call of the Haunted. If either of those is destoryed, so is the monster.
Summon Dice only stays on the field until the die effect is resolved. Also, the real effect or result people would hope for if they used this card is the five or six to special summon their powerhouse.

Now, it's time for my trivia question

Yugioh anime Trivia Question #2

When Yugi dueled Rafael the 1st time, name EVERY card in Yami's hand AFTER he played Card of Sanctity. He had SIX cards in his hand, and yes, one is the Seal of Orichalcos. Name all six correctly, and see your name in my next article.

Things to look forward to in my next article:

*an original deck construction
*another look at a couple of character cards *another trivia question *whatever other miscellaneous quirkiness and craziness I put in *a good read

As always, feel free to e-mail me about anything @ tsearcy@lssu.edu

As always, you stay classy Planet Earth :)

~Dark Paladin~
