We await the new Ban List so here are my thoughts...

Hello again to Pojo and Yugioh fans one and all! Today I come to you briefly to bring you what I envision or hope the next Ban List (which is close, rought 5 weeks away) may look like.

I. Forbidden List

New-Apprentice Magician, Dust Tornado

Ok, now time to explain my choices:

Newly banned:

New: Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning, Card Destruction, Cyber Jar, DD Survivor, Delinquent Duo, Morphing Jar, Sinister Serpant

BLS is an obvious one that doesn't need an explanation.

Card Destruction is sort of a "ban this to avoid a free light/dark dump if BLS survives again" but there are a couple of other things such as the Cyber Jar OTK and the like

Cyber Jar/Morphing Jar are both extremely powerful. If these and Fiber Jar stay banned, it would be cool to see a "Jarless" game.

DD Survivor obviously only for use against other DD themed cards but look, so many decks run DD Warrior Lady and DD Assaialant. This card is at least side-deck worthy, but one of these is all a deck would need.

Delinquent Duo needs to be put back. It can be a crippling game opener or a crippling game ender, depending on when it's played. It is too powerful.

Sinister Serpant has been used and abused for far too long, namely with Tribe Infecting Virus, but it has other hand abusing powers as well.
We can live without him for a while.

Newly Limited:

New-Brain Control, Book of Moon, Catapult Turtle, Confiscation, Creature Swap, Cyber Stein, DD Assailant, Magician of Faith, Metamorphosis, Pyramid Turtle, Reversal of Worlds, Royal Decree, Scapegoat, Tsukuyomi, Vampire Lord.

Brain Control is to Change of Heart as Lightning Vortex is to Raigeki.
Vortex got limited so it makes sense to limit this card as well.

Book of Moon is being used at least in twos in some decks, and it isn't that great of a card at all to face once, let alone more times. One is more than enough.

Catapult Turtle even Magical Scientist gone still has far too much power. One Turtle per deck isn't going to destroy the deck, one is all you need to accomplish your goals.

Confiscation needs to return as we return Delinquent Duo to the list.
We need disruption of some sort, and this is a less painful option.

Creature Swap needs to go to one. Since people can play two currently, most people are, and with a Snatch Steal also, that's too much theft for my liking.

Cyber Stein multiples would be a terrible thing for the game, especially with Cyber End Dragon being released. There are many other fusions worth fetching with Stein desptie the cost. He is screaming for abuse.

DD Assailant is far too powerful and used in threes in about every single Warrior or Warrior/Chaos deck. An incredibly overpowered effect.

Magician of Faith is also being played in multiples and constant reuses of Pot of Greed, Delinquent Duo, Graceful Charity, even Lightning Vortex is enough to warrant a restriction.

Metamorphosis is gaining popularity by the day. Morph decks of all types (Chaos, Goat, even plain morph) are seen all over the place. One is enough, and it forces some choosing.

Pyramid Turtle will add to make Zombies unGodly powerful if BLS finally does get banned. One is more than enough to fetch Vampire Lord, Spirit Reaper, or just about anything else.

Reversal of Worlds is being released (to my understanding) shortly after the next list will be revealed. This is an extremely powerful trap card.

Royal Decree is our trap form of Jinzo. Should we not restrict it just because it's prone to MST, Breaker, and Heavy Storm? Another Jinzo even in trap form warrants a restriction.

Scapegoat is absolutely everywhere. It's seen in Morph, Chaos, Warrior, Zombie, and about everything else. Even with trample these critters are very annoying.

Tsukuyomi as Dawn Yoshi predicted has become insanely powerful. Even more so due to the new rules of battle posistion. Tsuky/Chaos is too powerful right now.

Vampire Lord needs to go back to one, especially if Pyramid Turtle doesn't get restricted. Two is just too many, and this card shouldn't have been semied to begin with.

Newly Semi-Restricted

New-Apprentice Magician, Dust Tornado

Apprentice Magician can fetch itself, and the ever popular Magician of Faith. Two is all a deck would ever need, not to say it can power up Breaker again.

Dust Tornado is seen more in more, and in multiples since we still only have one Mystical Space Typhoon. I think two of these is enough.
