Tactical Evolution--Cards of Interest
06.05.07
Hello again to Pojo and Yugioh fans one and all! Today, I
come before you with a partial spoiler of the next set after
Force of the Breaker, which is supposed to be called
"Tactical Evolution" and shortened to TAEV on the cards.
This set isn't due out until mid to late August, and I give
my disclaimer, these are Japanese names, and they, as well
as effects, could change at anytime.
Two other important things worth pointing out. *First, some
effect monsters in this set seem to have the word "Dual" on
them where the word "effect" should be, as they are
considered, Normal and Effect monsters. Any "Dual" monster
will be noted as such. *Secondly, this set seems to have 80
cards, not 60...at least that's what all three spoilers I
checked out said.
First, the sneak preview card is going to be a card called
Gemini Summoner.
Gemini Summoner--TAEV-EN000
Water-Spellcaster
Level 4
1500 attack 0 defense
Effect: Once per turn, during your Opponent's Battle Phase,
you can pay 500 Lifepoints to Normal Summon one Monster from
your Hand. If you activate this effect, you cannot Special
Summon during this turn.
TAEV-JP001
Alien Soldier
Earth-Reptile
Level 4
1900 atk 800 def
No effect, but one of the sickest pictures on a common ever.
Just noting a 1900 attack monster, even though there are
better ones available.
TAEV-JP003
Guard of Dark Realm-Range
Dark-Fiend
Level 4
100 atk 2100 def
Again, no effect, but it is a Dark World monster, and it is
non tribute with enough defense to withstand a Cyber Dragon.
TAEV-JP006
Ultimate Gem God Rainbow Dragon (Ultra Rare) Light-Dragon
Level 10 4000 atk 0 def
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot
be Special Summoned except when there are 7 "Gem Beast"
cards with different names on your side of the Field and/or
in your Graveyard.
During the turn this card is Special Summoned, you cannot
activate any of the following effects.
*Send all "Gem Beasts" monsters you control to the
Graveyard. This card gains 1000 atk for each card sent to
the Graveyard this way. This effect can be used during
either player's turn.
*By removing from play all "Gem Beast" monsters in your
Graveyard, return all cards on the field to their owner's
Deck(s).
TAEV-JP012
Necro Guardna
Dark-Warrior
Level 3
600 atk 1300 def
Activate by removing this card in your Graveyard from play.
Negate the attack of one of your opponent's monsters.
TAEV-JP013 (Ultra Rare)
Venominaga, Deity of Venomous Serpents
Dark-Reptile
Level 10
0 atk 0 def
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot
be Special Summoned except by "Descent of Snake God" or its
own effect.
This card gains 500 atk for each Reptile-Type monster in
your Graveyard. As long as this card is face-up on the
Field, it cannot be targeted by the effects of Effect
monsters, Magic, or Trap cards, and is unaffected by them.
When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by
battle, it can be Special Summoned by removing one
Reptile-type card from your Graveyard from play, except this
card.
When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent,
place one "Hyper Venom Counter" on this card. If there are
three "Hyper Venom Counters" on this card, you win the Duel.
Damn...I say again DAMN! Difficult to summon like wh0a,
immune to nearly everything, and can win you the duel if he
survives long enough to deal damage to your opponent three
times. Damn...
TAEV-JP019
Hell Kaiser Dragon (Ultra Rare)
Fire-Dragon
Level 6
2400 atk 1500 def

the Field or in the Graveyard. When this card is face-up on
the Field, by Summoning this card a second time, treat it as
a Normal Summon. This card becomes an Effect monster and can
attack twice in the same Battle Phase.
I'm not sure what the hell this whole "summoning a second
time" thing means. It seems simple enough. I think it means
you can the same card a second time, I'm just not sure
how...we'll see later I guess.
