Dark Paladin's Yu-Gi-Oh! Dimension Figured I'd throw a little tidbit of an
article out, since I missed the review on Ceasefire, which
was a shame. Ceasefire was recently reviewed during
Ban Week, and it went from Restricted, to Semi-Restricted.
Just for a random old note, I think this was a card Lord
Tranorix was very fond of. I am too, and generally
(say 99.2% of the time) when a card has it's status moved
down (unless something perhaps coming back from Ban Land for
fun) it's because said card isn't a threat to the game.
Ceasefire sat on the Restricted status for years and years,
but was such a hidden little gem. It was (and still
is) a card that can win you a game. But it was never a
mainstream thing. Ceasefire is a card that hasn't
gotten any worse, not at all, it's more to the point the
environment has changed so much that it's just not something
you should really need. There is a vast difference
between the two, believe you me. I would go as far as
to say it's a card you need to keep in your Side-Deck,
assuming yours isn't full, which of course, it almost
certainly is. I know flips aren't very big in the game
right now, but it only takes one person at Regional or
something to pack a couple and win on one move for Ceasefire
to explode. We know how quickly these things happen
people. Just a little tidbit from your old friend Dark
Paladin Thanks for reading, as always, feel
free to contact me about anything @
