Hi, everyone.  This is a short break from my journey just to clarify some things that have cropped up in the many emails I have been receiving.

Firstly thanx for your responses to the articles they have been fantastic and I appreciate them all.  I hope I have been some help to those people who have asked questions.

Now for those who have asked, here is a summary of my current situation.

I am currently at the start of this journey that I am describing in my articles.  It is now March 2006 and I have had 20+ online duels and that is all.  My latest article (part 6) refers to January 2006.  So hopefully you can see where I am.  Eventually I will catch up with present day with my articles and will therefore be describing my experiences immediately after they have happened.  A few people have asked and I have yet to duel face-to-face in real life, enter a tournament or compete in Regionals or Nationals.

Some other things that have been asked quite often:

• I will gladly look at your decks but I’m not a deck fixer and have no experience in deck fixing.  I will offer some suggestions but they won’t be based on anything other than my opinion, sorry.

• In my last article I mentioned the following:

“Only quickplay spells and traps can be played in your battle phase and on your opponents turn, no others.  Especially important when you are in your own battle phase and try to activate a normal spell from your hand, I made this mistake.”

Where I refer to “no others” I mean no other spell card types unless it specifies somewhere in the card text.  Some thought I mean in no other game phases.  Sorry for the confusion.

Well hopefully that answers some of the recurring questions.  I am currently in the process of trying to get to duel against more different opponents.  So if you are interested and fancy getting mentioned in a future article then just email me on the address below.  I have a separate MSN address that I use for messenger and I will pass that to people who email me.

The next article will describe the next 4 duels I have had, as I didn’t start logging my duels until the 6^th duel.  However expect soon to read full logs of every move in some of the duels I have had.   Bad moves and good moves, plus a full analysis of the mistakes and success I had while duelling in them.

Plus if there is anyone in the North West of the UK anywhere near Liverpool that would love to help introduce me to the duelling scene there then please contact me, as I’m keen to move into some real-life duelling.
