MOFOX’S DECK EVOLUTION
SERIES Here is the start of a new set of articles I’m calling Deck Evolution. Rather than deck fixes, this set of articles will focus on 3 different decks over the course of the 2006/2007 Yu-Gi-Oh! Season. Unlike deck fixes/deck garages where you create an instantaneous fix for a particular deck, through the process of playtesting and turn-by-turn duel reviews myself and you, the Pojo readers, will pool ideas over the creation of these decks until we create 3 perfect to run decks with associated side decks. Once these decks have been perfected we will take a vote onto which one I will take to the UK National Championships (assuming I qualify). I initially had submitted my thoughts on 4 decks however I feel that as it will be you, the readers, as well as me that will be doing this in depth analysis then I think that it should be put to you to come up with some decks.
Now no doubt I will get a huge influx of deck ideas and I have considered about putting it to a vote to determine which 3 will be used but I have decided the process could take too long. With the season already underway I think it would be expedient to let me choose the 3 from your submissions.
Now the deadline:
You have until the 31st August to submit your deck ideas
They don’t have to be full decklists as we will be building the decks from scratch it is more your deck idea I am after.
In order to give you an idea, below are the 4 deck ideas that I had originally submitted:
There is a huge potential in this set of articles especially for the newbies out there. It will go into some great in depth analysis of deck building and will highlight some excellent techniques to use. Because I am a newbie I will have to try and understand how the experienced readers who submit their ideas come to their conclusions. I can then relay how I come about understanding it with my fellow newbies. Together we can gain a better understanding on how to build great decks. I won’t be afraid to ask the questions and hopefully I can pass on through these articles all the answers.
I’m really excited about these articles; hopefully we can turn a lot of newbies into excellent deck builders.
My email address is mofox9@hotmail.co.uk email me for any help or advice or even your opinions on my articles. I would love to hear your opinions and if you have any suggestions to improve them then let me know. I will reply to all emails that are sent to me. Remember newbies no question is a stupid question.
Until next time fellow duellists!
