Hey!
I'm back with a fun new series of articles. From
now until about mid-June I'll mainly be making
character decks. The first character deck I will
be making is Syrus, who runs a Roid deck, with
cute yet pretty okay monsters.
One thing we wil be running is a warrior, to use with UFOroid Fighter. This warrior is none other than Gearfried the Iron Knight. Why? Because he has solid attack and defense, plus when fused with UFOroid, he'll make a 3000 attack points monster. Not too shabby! Power Bond an Polymerization will be our main choices of Fusion helpers today, both with respecatble effects. Probably the best Roids are Steamroid, Gyroid, Drillroid, and UFOroid. When used correctly, Patroid and Jetroid are pretty okay too. This solidifies our Syrus monster line up. Next, we'll look at the Spells. Syrus uses Polymerization and Power Bond, but not much else that we've seen. So let's just fit in some basics. Brain Control is to Change of Heart like Premature Burial is to Monster Reborn, except Brain Control's not Limited : ). Fusion Sage will get us Polymerization so we can get Steam Gyroid of UFOroid Fighter in play. This deck dosen't get in too many hard hits, so Ookazi and Wave Motion Cannon are there for Burning. For one last measure of protection we have Gravity Bind on our traps zone, along with Mirror Force.
