YuGiOh Hello everybody I, Forest Thomer, like the lowly caterpillar have started my first steps towards emergence from its pupae. Now that I am a pojo FRONT PAGE writer, oh yah (I feel like a nerd, but at least now more people can be reached) I hope to continue my advances at the creation of unique and absurd decks. I want us all to evolve as players and think abstractly, to benefit from such thoughts, and not crumble and go into the convulsions of death at our first glimpse of the coming ban list because we all can thrive in the absence of the cookie cutter. All it takes is the ability to adapt, adaptation is key for without it we all will die. Anyway….Am I the only one to ever admire the power of VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon; in all of its robotic glory? Am I the only one wondering why it has not seen even casual play? It is by far one of the most impressive monsters ever, with the ability to generate massive advantage once it hit's the field. But there lies the problem, summoning this beast requires dedication and true insight into the games mechanics. To those who simply say that this monster is a 3+2+2 investment for one, obviously you need to realize that this too is a balanced and playable card (like winged kuriboh lv. 10), but in order to utilize it the logic of its deck should be centralized on it and it alone. For what STAR wants to share the spotlight? Thus I am going to attempt to create a playable vwxyz deck, my goal is for all of you to play test, play test, play test, and hopefully to realize its potential. Before I present my build, you must realize that this deck, like any, is not perfect, I have only tested it minimally but keep in mind that we do not have to take 2 and 2 to know that it is 4 do we? :P I want your responses, comments, etc. If you can do it better show me. Do not be afraid to speak your mind for this like any aspect of our lives is a learning experience. Only by interaction can we become better. Well, me and my crazy mind which brought you all the winged kuriboh lv. 10 deck (I really am proud of it), began thinking of exactly what is it that is so fascinating about these monsters. The answer, each and every one of them generates field control. All it costs you is your hand, but if you have the game won I personally believe the cost is worth it. Then I began to think, what kind of deck wins by crippling your opponents options and then overwhelming the field? Answer, return from the different dimension forces your opponent into top deck mode and then exploits it. (It turns their one for one monster destruction into advantage for you.) But the fascinating thing about this concept is that these machine monsters remove themselves from play upon summoning their fusion, thus you could very easily summon multiple fusion monsters in the same turn using a well placed return. This in hand crippling your opponent and pushing them closer to an overwhelming defeat. And the number one reason I love these beasts umm MACHINES, xyz dragon cannon in particular; they make any card in your hand into a MST, Smashing Ground, Offerings to the Doom, etc. XYZ literally makes all your in hand resources into removal, while at the same time filling your graveyard with monsters which can be removed from play for return or for Bazoo's effect or, lady's and gent's, to generate even more advantage through the use of Pot of Avarice. Quite literally we see a deck with so many ways to manipulate itself if leaves you with countless ways to set up a win condition. Now I present you all with my ………………………………....... vwxyz retun the pot deck Total (42) Monsters (28) D.D. Warrior lady
						2x Z-Metal Tank
3x Shining Angel Breaker the Magical warrior
						2x Spirit Reaper
					2x Magical Merchant 2x Gravekeeper's Spy
						Spells (7)
					Nobleman of crossout
						Traps (7)
					Torrential Tribute Fusions (18)
						3x XY-Dragon Cannon
					3x XZ-Tank Cannon 3x YZ-Tank Dragon 3x VW-Tiger Catapult
						3x XYZ-Dragon Cannon

						3x VWXYZ-Dragon
						Catapult Cannon

						There
you go, give it a try.  As you notice the deck can give
you bad draws but the hope is for cyber jar (try out
morphing jar if you feel like it) and thunder dragon,
magical merchant, and pot of avarice to get rid of those
hands.  Try playing the deck like any normal deck during
the begging of the duel.  Feel free to summon monsters
drawing out potential threats.  Basically try your best
to maintain field presence through the use of shining
angel and your spy's, then, when the time is right and
you have the summoning condition set up use bazoo or a
fusion and return to smack your opponent around.  My
original draft used ultimate offering, but as much as I
like that card I just can never get it to work
properly.  Feel free to try it out, maybe you can do
something cool with it.  The card definitely helps ease
up on getting all the pieces out.  But let me know and
really try out ultimate offering, make room for it
because I know somebody can get the card to work for
them.  The coolest thing about this deck is that it can
destroy almost any archetype it goes up against, given
the fact you can summon your fusions.  Quite literally
it laughs at the thought of burn.  Its biggest weakness
would be against otk, cyber stein really doesn't need
but one or two turns before it hits you hard.  So side
deck for it.  But give t a try, it is really cool
						to summon the imposable.

						If
anybody has a crazy deck idea or needs help fixing
something drop me some mail.  Also, send me revised
decks, I am here to learn from you as well.  Also on a
side note, I really want to be on a Yu-Gi-Oh
team.  Those of you who are reading this and know me,
drop me a line and tell me if your interested.  For one
person can do great things but without others they mean
						nothing.

						Forest Thomer hope to
						hear from all of you.

						my IM
						is Tebezu
