YuGiOh
With the glimmer
of the blade, the noble warriors stand against the
dark, their bodies radiant; refusing to conform to
the darkness around them. Through constant turmoil,
training, and simply perseverance justice will be
upheld.
with all the talk
of soul control becoming a major threat, I figure
today would be perfect to show you my Silent
Magician/Silent Swordsman deck. After playing my
armed dragon deck, I have fallen in love with search
able level monster whose effect basically gives you
the upgraded version on your turn. I also love the
synergy created by these cards, simply because they
are light monsters, whose weakness form is search
able by shining angel. This in turn generates an
advantageous draw engine through the use of Pot of
Avarice. Also, sense we are running a deck loaded
with light monsters, we can easily throw in Freed
the Brave Wanderer to counter Chaos Sorcerer. Sense
he will more than likely hit the field. And your
Freed can then produce lovely 2 for ones in exchange
of a summon.
Shining Angel can
be used in the early game to get you the Warrior
simply to get you a big monster fast and thin out
the deck while removing bad draws. If and when you
have level up, you use it for the magician. Simply
because this is the most efficient way to summon
him. I have worked on using morphing jar, card
destruction, level modulation, etc. but all of these
things do nothing to actually net you any
advantage. In most cases they place you in a bad
situation. Thus level up gives you a big 3500 self
protected monster. My body as a shield and royal
decree should only be used as a means of protecting
your level monsters from traps or zarborg, mirror
force, etc. Also the frog serves some purpose to
give you a free tribute for your Lv. 5.
Something I would
recommend trying out in this deck would be inferno
reckless summon with the warrior and proto-cyber
dragon as a means of giving you multiple picks.
Let me know; a
deck can always be better and I am positive someone
else can fix its flaws.
Go ahead, give it
a try
