Yeah… I have been gone, but I am going to try to write a few articles again, mainly looking at Cards of Interest from each set. So lets start with The Legends of Blue Eyes White Dragon.
Who could not love this card? The original power-house monster is still a fan favorite to this game.
You can’t have Blue Eyes without Dark Magician, the nemesis of Blue Eyes. Dark Magician is a kid favorite to everyone who watched Yugi Moto duel in the original series.
Even though this card is banned, Dark Hole was a starter deck – and normal deck staple. Destroying all monsters – especially your opponent’s 3 Blue Eyes – was priceless back then, and when off the list, still a excellent card.
I am not going to mention Dark Hole without Raigeki, because anyone who could afford the once $60.00-$70.00 card had it and ran it. And I think this was the Number One card in this set.
Although very underrated when it was first released, this card quickly gained momentum when facing a bunch of monsters and you didn’t have Dark Hole waiting.
EVERYONE ran 3 of these in their old decks. Enough said.
Hard to believe, but this card was once run in 2’s. Stopping your opponents monsters was always fun. Oh wait, it still is.
Is there anything I need to say about this card?
The sequil – is there anything I need to say about this card too?
Ah, yes… Exodia… I don’t think I can say much about these five cards.
