TheMcShakeAlchemist (Sean
Handy)
on Yu-Gi-Oh!
From Rags to Riches #4 Copping out?
August 6, 2012
Hey everyone! Thanks a ton for all of the feedback on
the other articles from this series! The response
overall has been fantastic! Unfortunately, this will
be the last article in this series for a bit. I'm sure
that if you are an adult and reading this you know that,
well, life happens sometimes and you gotta move finances
around and frankly, I need to liquidate my Yu-Gi-Oh! and
apply the money somewhere else, to put it as cryptically as
possible. I will, for anyone who is interested, say
that I am selling the entirity of my tradebook to someone in
my area for $400 (for reference, one can view my last
article for the contents of book itself).
I plan to get back into Yu-Gi-Oh! in a manner that is much
more suited to the title of this article series, and many
people have asked what they should do with a smaller budget
or tradebook than the one I started with initially in this
article series, so, what I plan to do, is start with a
budjet of $50 to start my ENTIRE collection next time I get
back into Yu-Gi-Oh!. This may be in a couple of weeks,
or a couple of months, but, it should be before the year is
over. Hopefully this will help people who are first
getting in to the game learn how to budget their finances.
One thing to note, is that 50 bucks will also have to buy
the deck that I play, hopefully this will be easier after
the Collector's tins (including Scrap Dragon and Wind-Up
Zenmaines) are released. I'm not 100% sure one what
I'll be playing at that point, but I'm almost sure I'm going
to wait until the Water Structure deck is released, and I'll
start from there.
From here I am going to keep playing Magic: The Gathering
and continue writing for this website, more or less on the
Magic: The Gathering side of the 'site. If there is
anything in particular you would like more information on,
or, want to see an article on (on either side!) make sure to
contact me and let me know. It's much harder for me to
know what my readers want without them telling me.
Hopefully what I have written in this season of Yu-Gi-Oh!
has been able to help people and when I begin playing again
will help people, but, for now, I'm signing off.
Never Stop Learning
