Yugiman's Thoughts
Single Card Review: Elemental Hero Wildheart
November 6, 2006

A person e-mailed me and told me to look at Elemental Hero monsters and I thought what better than to start with Elemental Hero Wildheart. First released in EEN, and than came out as a foil sometime later.

Many people figure Elemental Hero decks to be crap and not good. But If you make a proper Elemental Hero deck, it can go far and even Top8 a Regional. I browsed the Pojo Forums and even found someone whom Top8ed with it. Lost in
Top8 but nonetheless it achieved its goal. For anyone whoms says their crap, just take a look at the deck and maybe test it out.

Now this is probably my favorite Elemental Hero, because he has a effect somewhat similar to Jinzo. And in some terms, he's quite better. You still get to activate your traps, which is always good. He's a level 4, so no tribute required to summon him, and he cant be killed by traps.

The text of this card reads:

Elemental Hero Wildheart
Level 4
Attack: 1500 Defense: 1600
Effect:
This card is unaffected by the effects of Trap Cards.

This fits outside of Elemental Hero decks and inside Elemental Hero decks too. You could easily place him in any deck and get good advantage off of him. Summon him, attack, Sakuretsu, Widespreads, Force, etc wont kill him.
He just says no and laughs at your opponent insanely.

1500 attack isnt too shabby either. It can take down defensive monarchs, Dekoichi, and much more easily. 1600 defense is always quite good since it stops Dekoichi, Tomato attacks and much more. You could run Giant Rats and get him out quicker. Summon Rat, Swap them it over, get somethin to attack it and bring out EHW.

This card can be good main-decked in a Giant Rat build or anything else for that matter, and it can be just as good side-decked too. Just because it has Elemental in its name, dont assume it crap as summon of them are quite good.
Possibly try this card out mained or side could work to your advantage.

If you have any card you want me to review, please send to freezergeezer111@hotmail.com and I will review it sometime. Once I get to it. Also thanks for the e-mails, Ive had alot, and will hopefully send back a reply to you. Thanks for suppport.
