This deck is
amazingly fast. The main point of the deck is to place
a Morphing Jar on the field and abuse it as much as
possible; digging through the deck for key cards and
decking your opponent out. You can stall until you get
this combo going, and it is similar to the Empty Jar
deckout. Morphing Jar #2 is in here to deck your
opponent out, and also keep out your key cards. Dragged
Down Into the Grave combos well with A Feather of the
Phoenix, which is the absolute greatest card in the
deck. A Feather of the Phoenix also combos well with
Archfiend's Oath, so you know what card is on top.
Spell Reproduction is in here to get rid of
the not-needed cards in your hand, and to get something
better back. Magical Explosion and Decking Out is this
deck's key winning conditions, so you need to get them
back as much as possible. That is why A Feather of the
Phoenix is good in the build. Reasoning dumps Spells
into the Graveyard to build up for Magical Explosion,
while digging for a Dark Magician of Chaos or other
monster. If your Magical Explosion is in the Graveyard
while being discarded with Reasoning, add it back to
your hand with A Feather of the Phoenix. Serial Spell
works great with this decks Normal Spell cards, to
really maximize advantage and getting more combo
pieces.
Stalling is really
good in the deck. Morphing Jar #2 and Morphing Jar go
well with the stall. Morphing Jar #2 goes well with it
because it can be bounced back into the deck in order to
be searched out again. Morphing Jar is a key card in
this deck, and stall lets you get time to set your hand
before you blow off its effect. Book of Taiyou is in
here to get them going without risk of being destroyed.
The Shallow Grave gives you a good part back to keep
playing your key Flips over and over again.
This deck does take
some time in order to play it solid. Magical Mallet and
Reload are in there to add Morphing Jar to your hand as
quick as possible. As soon as that happens, Book of
Taiyou comes along on turn one after you set your hand,
and gives you a fresh new one to work with. You should
just stall with the deck until you are sure you can
start the combo off and nail your opponent. This is a
very good deck, and has the potential to be amazing.
Well, that's it.
Sorry if it seems a little bit short. If you have any
questions, comments, or deck ideas, you can send them to
zbarvian@comcast.net. Thanks for reading, and I
will continue giving your new and original deck ideas
from me and from you guys. See ya around.
This is YGOmaster,
signing off.
