Okay, I feel really
ashamed writing this, but some things just need to
happen with the Create-A-Card Contest. If you are
participating in this contest, please read this article
thoroughly and carefully, and please use the following
rules before submitting any other cards.
1.
Okay, the first thing is simple. I'm getting waayy too
many cards, they are good, but I can't get them. I
received 45 emails yesterday when I started the contest,
with about 7-10 cards in each one. If I keep going like
this, by the time the deadline reaches, I'll have close
to 7,000 cards. 7,000. I cannot look through 7,000
cards, and pick the Top 4 and 76 other ones. So, I'm
changing the deadline, All Cards Must Be Submitted
By January 19, at 8:00 PM. At that time, I will
print out the full list of cards you guys have sent me,
and mark my favorites. I will then look through the
favorites and mark the Top 4, and slim down the amount
of cards until I get the 76 other ones. The amount of
cards you guys are sending me is fine, and like I said
before, there is no limit, but I don't want 100 or over
cards. Thanks.

Another thing I've noticed, is you guys are going off
theme. I have received Winged Beast Support, Archfiend
Support, and pratically any other kind of theme. The
theme is PLANT/EARTH, and I will not put on the other
card support themes. They are great cards, and have a
bunch of thought into them, but I they are going off
theme. I will create more Card Contests in the future,
so just wait until then. Most of you are sending me
Plant/Earth Support, and with a couple of other cards.
I am looking over the other cards, and since they are
going off theme, I will copy the Plant/Earth Support
cards to my pile of created cards saved to my PC, and
most likely just leave the other ones. So, what I'm
trying to say here, is STAY ON THEME.
3.
The last thing I've noticed, and probably the most
important thing out there, is the way you guys are
sending me cards. I spent over 2 and a half hours last
night just making capitalization and fixing grammar
errors on only 16-20 cards. I know most of you have a
Spell Check button on the top of your Email Composer, so
use it..... please. I will go over the ways to creat
Spell, Trap, or Monster cards, and you must follow this
in order for me to put you in the contest.

card from your hand. Select one Plant-Type Monster in
your Graveyard, and Special Summon it to your side of
the field.

Effect: You can only
activate this card when your opponent activates a
Spell Card that has the effect of destroying one or more
of your Plant Type Monsters. Negate and destroy the
Spell Card.

King of the Forest
Plant/Level 8/Earth
Effect: ATK 3000/DEF
1500
When this card is
Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned successfully, you can
Special Summon Plant-Type Monsters from your deck equal
to or less than the amount of cards you tributed for
this card. Those Monsters cannot be tributed for a
Tribute Summon, and are destroyed 2 of your turns after
this card's activation.
Okay, that's how I
need it to go. Please don't give me amazing cards that
cannot be stopped. I received a card like this...
Swarming Creature of
the Earth
Plant/Level 5/Earth
Effect: ATK 2400/DEF
1600
When this card is
Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, you
can Special Summon one Monster from your deck with the
same ATK or DEF.
The first thing about
this card I like, is the way it was written. That is how
you should send me cards. I could not put this card in
the contest sadly though, because I realized the full
brokeness of it. If you Tribute Summon it, you can get
another one from your deck, and then another one, and
then anything else. That's 4 Monsters in one turn, and
that could easily make an OTK. This thing would be a
complete staple, and is so much more better than the
Gadgets. I cannot put insanely broken cards into the
contest. I'm sorry to the person who created this card,
but I cannot put it in.
