Hi, My name is NecroDuelist, or RoninAlchemist16 (my 2 most common/recent online personas)

Every Saturday, me, my friend, and his older brother drive an hour away to the Laurel Mountain Comic store to play in the YGO tournament.

Well the point of this deck is more Beatdown than anything and only discards when absolutely necessary, this week even less than the previous.

Anyways, we had a small turn out for the tournament about 10 players.

My first round, I thought I had it made... I was playing our very own Veteran Noob... Yes, he's the kid who's always there but never gets any better...
Until today...
Me Vs. Jeff, The Vet. N00b
He was actually running a really good deck, it looked exactly like a previous build of mine, minus the Secret Barrels. That's right folks, burn, and he was running the most annoying one I've ever had the misfortune of playing.. (You know, Solars, Bowganians, Stealth Birds, WMC) I started off with a relatively good hand, from what I can remember, Trunade, Don, Blade Knight, I think that's most of it...
However he ended up killing the Don with Solar Flare and pwned me with his burn and stall cards because all I could draw were four star monsters and no spell/trap removal... It really IS embarassing to lose to him...
However, as you may have noticed, my Side Deck is nearly completely Anti-Burn, so I wasn't too scared, and it would spell his eventual downfall...

But....2 new players arrived forcing us to restart the entire tournament...
And I was pretty mad, because I figured I had a good shot of beating Jeff with my Side Deck...

However my new opponent was George who hadn't been to the tournament for months and just recently returned 3 weeks ago... Plus he was running the ever-annoying Chaos.
I knew he was a good player and that I would have trouble beating him... And I would've lost if he hadn't made a few key errors.
The first duel... Was so,so, until he hit me directly with a couple monsters... Severely lowering my Life Points, however I returned the favor and we were both fairly low and fairly even in Life Points... My hand wasn't as good as I could've wished and I didn't see victory arriving anytime soon, so I Ring'd a big creature and ended the duel in a draw.
0-0-1

The second duel was more in my favor, my trusty Bottomless Trap Holes kept him at bay and I continually striked his Life Points, usually with Blade Knight and Enraged... His key error in this game was mixing his Graveyard and RFG monsters together... After I had Torrential'd one of his summons, his Pitch Black Warwolf hit the grave, giving him the Light/Dark needed to bring out the Big Gun. However he carelessly added it to his RFG. Without him knowing, I suppose I took of his slip-up, and finished him for the win. I did mention his mistake when we finished, and he didn't believe me...

After much coaxing he finally realized his mistake... Sry George!
1-0-1

The final duel was pretty dead throughout... And very cloudy except the end.

It was right after a Cyber Jar, I saw him draw Ceasefire and realized my impending doom. The damage from that card would inevitably kill me and since its chainable, there was nothing I could do to stop it. However this was his second mistake: He summoned Jinzo, thus negating the traps. The next turn I Heavy Storm'd removing the threat from the game. I Snatch'd his Jinzo and tributed one of my monsters for my own. I equipped mine with Mage Power. I knew he had a f/d Night Assailant so I decided to attack with mine.
These were his choices for Night Assailant: Destroy the stronger one and take a hit to his Life Points, or lose his own monster. He chose to destroy mine. And I hit him for 2400. After that it was all downhill.
Good Game George, but you just need to pay attention a bit more...
2-0-1

There was still a game going on so me and a couple of my friends went over to Sheetz (which I guess is PA's 7-Eleven, and NJ's Wawa's?) and had myself an MTO Meatball Sub w/ Cheddar and BBQ and a Green Apple Jones Soda...

Back to the tournament...
I played John. I didn't like him the first time I had seen him, but I like him a lot more now.. You eventually become friends with everybody at tournaments when you're there all the time. I knew him from the YGO things at Toys R Us. And I suppose he decided to challenge himself out at an ACTUAL tournament not the crappy "Come Duel with a bunch of Noobs that use God Cards and Blue Eyes Shining Dragon" things at T'sRUs

Me Vs. John with the Trample Deck
The first Duel: This one has literally escaped my memory... the Final Duel might even be this one... I can't remember if he won a duel at all.. Or if I won 2 straight... Sry...
Second Duel: Me... After an intense stalemate that lasted many a turn, I eventually took the win.
Final Duel: I seem to remember him not having anything, I took advantage of this oppurtunity and came away with the win.

*Meanwhile*
Jeff had won in the first round... AND then got the Bye... He was guaranteed to place!!! Argh!

Final 3
Woot! The only people left were me, Jeff, and Ed (one of the top duelists in the shop) One of us would get the bye, the other two would face each other.

I played Jeff! Yay! This time I'd be prepared.

First Round:
Heheh. He was beating me up with some burn, and stalling with GB's and Level Limits....
But... I got Night Assailant in ATK mode boosted it to 2700 with Mage Power... And destroyed him...
1-0-0
Second Round:
I sided in the Des Wombat x2, Swarm of Locusts x2, and Lava Golem I had the audacity to play 2 monsters when I should've known he had Lava Golem in his deck.
He got rid of my monsters... And the speedy Life Point draining effects of Solar Flare and Lava-G left my Life Points really low...
Knowing I had to draw SOMETHING, I didn't and lost 1-1-0 Third Round:
This one was fun...
Sure he scalded me a little bit, but when Jinzo came out he was screwed.
Knowing this time to not summon 2 monsters, I kept attacking with Jinzo, hitting Fire Princess, Stealth Bird, and Bowganian before finally being able to hit his Life Points a few times.
Unfortunately, he played Level Limit to save himself. Also, unfortunately, he had 800 Life Points left, which I then took care of next turn with Swarm of Locusts, to move on to the Finals.
2-1-0

I played Ed for 1st/2nd place... I really hate playing with him, not as much as the absent "full of himself" Dylan..., but I like him as a friend.
Much to my surprise his beatdown was rather lack-luster and Bottomless, Drop Off, Don, and various other heavy hitters polished him off in both duels...

Woot 1st Place!!!
First time in a long time, actually not since my Chaos deck of Traditional Yesteryear...

Props:
-Getting 1st
-Being able to get a Marvel VS. pack instead of a YGO pack (which would have contained Spell Statute or w/e it's name is) -The great sub from Sheetz -Getting my 4th and final 5-drop Magneto in the VS pac... This is for YGO, sry I forgot. You people probably don't even give a damn

Slops:
-The crappy prize
-Jeff placing
-Losing to Jeff twice
-Jeff being there
-No DB2
-Not getting a Silver Surfer in Web of Spiderman yet... dammit, sorry I forgot.. YGO... Must stick to YGO

Love, hate, criticism...
I will probably hate it... But I welcome it...
