BTW it's an advanced tourny with no Jap cards at all.

Th3 l0w d0wn: When i was thinking of a new deck, i pondered
to myself, what usually is the feild and hand when the game
is won/lost. I realized that the answer is the following.
Your hand when won: Usually either total hand control or
top-decking luck.
Your opponent's hand when lost: Usually nothing or a tribute
Your feild when won: A bluff and at least 1 monster in atk,
the rest in def
Your opponent's feild when lost: A bluff or 2 that was never
used previously and no monsters.
Knowing the following i decided on making a deck that only
needs 1 or 2 monsters out on the field to kill your opponent
while you have 1 or 2 face downs and a big hand. What was
the theme i had in mind? Beatdown. A beserk and simple
monarch could own field advantage and let me have a hug
hand. Same with a beserk and spear, and beserk with tribe, a
beserk with slate, and a beserk with about anything. I would
put in a more then usual amount of traps, hold back on the
magics, and keep the normal amount of monsters. After i made
this deck, i had my friend use my deck agaisnt my new
beatdown..The results were 6-1.
After all the rambling, i decided to shut up and tell you
about the tourny..Tehe
I got there at the usual time, 12:30 (tourny starts and 1)
and did a little trading. I could tell you what i traded and
ramble for another 10 paragraphs or tell you that i signed
up right away and began to duel.
Round 1: CCC, meet beatdown vs. BYE
He ran a good deck but i managed to overcome him ;).
Round 2: CCC,MB vs. Noob friend.
Yeay a group of kids from school came -.-...Before we began,
he threatened to tell the whole school i like yu-gi-oh if i
dont throw the game..OHHH how scary, i wonder if the popular
kids would believe the line backer or a nerd...Tehe.
Match 1: I got thee best hand in the deck and got to go
first. I first played Pot of greed and drew 2. I then paid
1000 for the dou and discarded 2. i set a drop off and
bottomless and played beserk. He drew and i played drop off.
He ahd 3 cards and set all 3. I tributed my beserk for a
mobius, destroyed his noob traps, and atked directly. His
next moves only made me sorry for him.
Match 2: We both had good hands but he ended up getting
luster dragon2 and my gaia against a bottomless and a
shining. He attacked my shining, i got d.d and he ended. i
put luster in def, summoned breaker and atked it, and
removed my gaia with d.d...GG
Round 3: CCC,MB vs. Kid of many decks.
He makes a new deck every week, and today a fiend...pish
posh.
Match 1:He had a good hand advantage and feild advantage so
i scooped.
Match 2: I used 3 bottomless and a random kycoo in his deck
to remove 13 monsters...O to the N to the W to the ED!!
Match 3 : Airknight and spears attacked 4 scapegoats and 2
times direct.
Round 4: finals??? CCC.MB vs Chaos
Nothing to say but, I was cocky i would win b/c it was
chaos, and never saw the the relienquist ( or how ever you
spell it) coming.
Same as the first time, but he cybored and changed the theme
to chaos zombies.. i didnt see until 2 late.
PROPS : 2ND place and pulling a brain controll to the 1st
placeman's crap.
Owning the 2nd place dude.
SLOPS: that darn 1st placemen.
Not having a lot of time to make this report =)
I would like to have good deck fixes for feel free =)...my
email is esml@opton.net
