Skill Drain Deck/ I Take Back What I Said About
Advanced-JoeTrex3000
From: JoeTrex3000@aol.com
Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2005 01:28:57 EDT
Hi this is Joe wanting to leave a deck list of a great trap
card skill drain. I used this deck in a team tournament with
my friend. After the list ill tell you how the deck works.
Oh and also I would like to take back what I said about
Advanced so if you want do read that just skip down.

3 Goblin Attack Force
3 Giant Orc
2 Zombra The Dark
3 Fusiler-Duel Mode Beast
2 Beserk Gorilla
2 Flash Assailant
2 Nuvia The Wicked
1 Ultimate Obedient Fiend
Spells 14
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Lightning Vortex
1 Premature Burial
2 Nobleman of Crossout
1Book of Moon
1Smashing Ground
1 Snatch Steal
1 Brain Control
1 Sebek's Blessing
1 United We Stand
1 Mage Power
1 Pot of Greed
1 Graceful Charity
Traps 8
3 Skill Drain
1 Dust Tornado
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Mirror Force
1 Waboku
1 Spell Shield Type 8
Side Deck
2 Vampire Lord
2 Ryu Kokki
2 Pyramid Turtles
1 Jinzo
3 Trap Hole
1 Trap Jammer
3 Compulsory Evacuation Device
1 Bottomless Trap Hole
Ok, Well the main strategy of this deck is to pull out Skill
Drain so your opponent doesn't get too many of their monster
effects. The only effects that still work are effects that
activate in the graveyard. Most of you realize that people
put monsters in their deck that have great effects like
Tribe-Infecting Virus or Black Luster Soldier Envoy of the
Beginning. Even flip effects are negated by Skill Drain.
Of course you know that you can use skill drain to keep
Goblin Attack Force or Giant Orc from switching to defense.
Also keep Zombra from losing attack points or let him
actually attack directly. One of my favorites is Ultimate
Obedient Fiend because then you have a monster with a 3500
attack. Also because of Fusiler's effect you can summon him
without tributing and then his effect is negated so you more
or less have a 4 star monster with a 2800 attack.
Probably the biggest thing about this awesome Skill Drain
card is that if you play it before Jinzo is out his effect
is negated(one time I got to bottomless a Jinzo and you have
no idea how good that feels).
For you beginners who might want to use this deck make sure
you only play 1 skill drain down at a time. Oh and this is
an advanced format deck.

I Take It Back
Well in my first article here on pojo I said that advanced
was only for people who were scared of the good cards. Well
now that I actually went in the Advanced format I enjoyed it
very much. Yeah at the tournament I got to at hobby town USA
in Grand Blanc Michigan (Sup Guys if you don't know this is
Joe
Jenkins) I went against some really tough opponents but it
was really fun. I didn't use that skill drain deck though.
Anyway I think when I said those things about advanced I was
just mad because people were all up in my face about being
traditional. Yeah I just like to say that I regret saying
those things about advanced and enjoy playing. HERE I TAKE
IT BACK. There I said it. I think I realized its more fun
beating someone who is good instead of some kid who tries to
set a monster in face down attack position*LAUGH*.
Anything you wanna say.(If you want send me hate mail I
think its funny) e-mail me at _JoeTrex3000@aol.com_
