Batteryman AA deck_The
Lost Millenium Sneak Preview Tourney_Card Heaven_Windsor
I don't remember seeing too many sneak preview tourney
reports before, so I decided to write up a Sneak Preview
tourney report.
Before I go on I have to point out an "illegal move" that i
performed in my last tourney report. After a Creature Swap
is activated, and if you choose to swap a Horus LV6, then
horus LV6 is swapped. I didn't kno this so I got an unfair
advantage illegally. This occured in my last tourney report
back in March.
I woke up too late to arrive early enough to get the Amazon
Chain(something something...). Oh well. Once we get seated
and recieve our 5 packs we get the go ahead to start
constucting a deck with minimum limit of 20 cards. For 2
Sneak Preview tourneys in a row, I did not draw a tribute
monster (ie, Flaming Eternity and The Lost Millenium).
I pulled out a BRAIN CONTROL! yay! In the end, my deck
becomes a Batteryman AA deck.
After constructing my deck I put the cards into card sleeves
I recieved at the Australian National Tournament on 1st of
April (it came in a Deck Protector box).
About the Nationals, I thought somebody would have posted up
a tourney report about it, but since nobody posted one up,
I'll just give you a summary. First of all we have to
congratulate Stewart Brimes from Adelaide, (representing the
Battlezone Gaming store) for becoming the Australian Yu-Gi-Oh
Champion. Sorry to the others top 8 but I can't remember all
your names (except for Will, who I know from the local
tourneys here) 7 of the 8 National finalist were running
Chaos Decks, Will, the outcast of the top 8, was running a
Soul Exchange Monarch deck. Another suprise of the top 8 was
a Stall Chaos deck. Yes, you would be suprised too if you
saw a BLS in his hand and a F/U Gravity Bind and a F/D
Scapegoat. Unfortunately he lost by the skin of his teeth in
the Semi's after time was called. This is how it ended in
the 3rd duel:
Stall Chaos guy had
- atk pos Breaker on 1600 and F/D monster - F/D Gravity Bind
and Scapegoat
Chaos guy had
- drawed a Heavy Storm (vital draw indeed) - had BLS in hand
and another card - took a long time to think. - Chaos guy
activate Heavy Storm - remove light and dark and Spec. Summ
BLS and atk'd Stall Chaos guy's Breaker. - Chaos guy wins on
"time called" by 200LP
Now onto the sneak preview, heres the deck i constructed
MONSTERS 11x
3x
Batteryman AA
Light/Thunder/3/0/0
Effect: If all "Batteryman AA"(s) on your side of the field
are in Attack Position, increase the ATK of this card by
1000 points for each "Batteryman AA" on your side of the

are in Defense Position, increase the DEF of this card by
1000 points for each "Batteryman AA" on your side of the
field.

removed from play, this card is Special Summoned to the
owner's side of the field during the End Phase.

-|1st rnd|-
this guy couldnt find his deck ne where and first thoughts
were it was stolen. but a good willed person found it and
handed it to the store owners incase somebody was looking
for it.
I won both duels in quick succession.
-|2nd rnd|-
duel 1
stalled me with Lone Wolf(trap that doesn't allow monk
fighter to be destroyed by battle) and Monk Fighter(monster
all battle damage to this mon is reduced to zero)
Pikeru's Second Sight allowed me to see her draw an Amazon
chainmaster and then she set it f/d. i set all my magic
cards so that when i destroyed it she couldnt activate its
effect to get ne thing from me
almost decked out, final card was "brain control"
took control of "master monk"(souped up version of monk
fighter) & "Gift of the Martyr" to pump up "Batteryman AA"
and atk for game.
duel 2
time was called within 2 or 3 turns. She needed to bring me
down to 0LP to go onto 3rd duel. she managed to take down my
LP lower than hers but since she did not bring me down to
0LP or won a previous duel, i won the round.
-|3rd rnd|-
duel1
loss
couldn't bring out my battermen out b4 losing all my LP.
duel 2
crucial move - had f/d elemental hero clayman, he already
knows about my medusa worm coz i used it's effect to destroy
his mon b4, decided to activate shifting shadows (only time
ever used in entire tourney) pay 300 and pretended to
rearrange em to diff mon fields, on his turn he attacked
elemental hero instead of my medusa worm, he couldn't
believe it.
batteryman won it
time called just b4 duel 3
duel 3
he had advantage of goin 1st
didnt draw ne strong monsters, he won on his 2nd turn
-|4th rnd|-
had him on the back foot in both duels with powerful
monsters
-|5th rnd|-
he was boasting about himself saying that he's storming back
to the higher ranking table numbers after being bumped to
the lower ranking table numbers after a 1st round loss. i
thought to myself that he was a bit cocky but won't
underestimate him.
duel 1
total domination with dd survivor
he topdecks ancient gear wolf or something when he needed a
strong def or atk 4star monster
duel 2
set 1 monster. for some reason did not atk f/d "batteryman
AA" card coz he was "afraid of my f/d spell/trap cards" o
well, w/ experience, he'll learn that UDE won't be in a
hurry to release another sakuretsu armor or mirror force.
i summoned another "battery man" and flip summoned my other
"batteryman AA" destroyed his f/d monster and then atk his
LP directly for 2000.
my next turn summon another batteryman and atk for a total
of 6000 and win, this duel was over in just 3 moves
i have to admit i was expecting more from the final round
ended up 15th out of 84-85 duelist
got 3 packs as a prize and a tp5 for not being the 1st 55 to
recieve an amazon chainmaster(something something...). i
have to admit it has a nice effect with a steep cost.
imagine if opponent has BLS in his/her hand, a possible 2
BLS on ur side =D
only 1 or 2 persons in the whole store pulled out an Ancient
Gear Golem. one kid sold his to my friend for $22 and then
pretty much straight away selling it off to another person
for $50, $28 profit :p
props
-pulled out an ultimate rare blackbelt of something
something and then trading it off at the end of the day
-getting a BRAIN CONTROL
-there are still good people out there who aren't greedy.
slops
-not being able to come early enough to get the promo card
-not winning the 3rd round. like anyone if we lose, we all
rather lose in the final round than in the earlier rounds.
