Hi all!

This is Baker and another tourney report with me using my all powerful
attack of the nimble momonga deck, the most underestimated but useful card
in the game,
First ide like to apologise to everyone for the delay, I received a great
number of e-mails after my last report and then after a while my computer
broke down and has only just been repaired and I had plans to duel some
people on YVD but im ready any time now, also sos to anyone whose e-mail I
didn’t reply to as I did promise to reply to them on my last report, but
this time I will have no excuse to not replying.
Anyway, moving on to the report!
This was not a normal tourney with my local store, it was in London near
where my cousin lives in some store called fun and games. I had come down
to London to visit my family and while I was there I thought ide check out
my cousins local, the agegroups are divided into 10-under, 11-14 and 15-up,
I am 15. the prizes for winning an agegroup were a box of 3 RDS packs and
the promo card and either a dragon or zombie structure deck, the prizes for
winning the whole thing was a box of DB1 although I wasn’t going to keep the
overall prize if I won as I have a tourney coming up that me and a mate r
running and I need to supply a box for half the prize. me and my cuz
arrived about 9:15 and done some trades,
Like 1 of my 3 chaos emperor dragons for a dark ruler ha des, a snatch
steal, an airknight parshath, a monster reincarnation super, an exiled force
and a sinister serpant, LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
And no im not that tight on trades I did tell him it was banned. U will find
that this tourney report is very descriptive with absoloutely every move
that happened in my duels, this is because my mate who is my cousins
neighbour was keeping all the notes for me while watching my duels.

Anyway heres my deck

So anyway
This tourney like most play 3 rounds of swiss and the tourney started at
10:00 so each age group was called together to be paired up with an
opponent.

Match 1

Baker’s attack of the nimbles VS Alex’s attack of the living dead

I don’t know this guy but he said he is mates with my cousin so he is
alright in my book, I won the coin toss and went first I drew nimble, heavy
storm, NOC, reflect and spear dragon, I drew book of moon for my draw, not
too shabby so I set book and nimble and ended, he set a card and summoned
pyramid turtle and attacked nimble so I Special summoned 2 more and he
ended, I drew ceasefire and flipped a nimble hoping for torrential to come,
it didn’t so I summoned reflect and flipped the other nimble, I attacked
with reflect and he activated mirror wall, man I haven’t seen that in ages
anyway apparently the new one in DB1 quotes that u don’t have to pay whereas
with the old one no-one was 100% sure. So my reflect died and I lost 350 LP
and I set ceasefire and ended. He drew and destroyed his mirror wall and
attacked a nimble with turtle, what was this guy waiting for my guess was he
had a hand of tribs and rather then trib turtle he wanted to use its effect
so I lost 200 and gained 1000 so I had 9450 LP, then to my surprise he
tribbed his turtle for ryu kokki and set a card before ending so I drew GAF
/goblin attack force for those of u who daren’t used to abbreviations/ and
thought ide show off some REAL horsepower so I played book of moon on kokki
summoned GAF to attack it and hit him directly with nimble, alright not
great horsepower but I was only just getting warmed up! Then I realised I
had overlooked his FD card, a very n00bish mistake that I don’t often make u
can count it wouldn’t happen again, so I ended and he drew, he played MST on
my ceasefire which I chained with doing 1000 to him and he ended, HA I knew
it he has all his tribs at once, unlucky mate so I drew change of heart and
played heavy storm, BAH! A bluff! Creature swap ah well at least now its
gone, so I summoned spear set NOC and attacked with spear and nimble for
2900 he was now at 3100 LP, I ended and he drew, a bit more luck this time
he summoned regenerating mummy and attacked my GAF and ended, I drew
premature and knew that was the end I played change of heart on his mummy
switched spear to attack , played premature on my nimble even though I
didn’t need it but hell I wanted to win with my deck master so I attacked
with his mummy and then with my 2 nimbles for round 1.

Round 2
He went first and played pot, then he set a M-T card and a monster and
ended, I drew
NOC, GAF, heavy storm, fiber jar, compulsuary and drew goats, a personal
favourite in my deck, so I NOC his face down which was pyramid turtle and
played heavy storm on his own compulsuary, I summoned GAF which I attacked
with, set goats and compulsuary and ended, he played heavy storm so I
chained with CED sending GAF to my hand and chained goats as well, he set a
M-T card and summoned turtle attacking a goat and ended, I drew tribe and
set fiber jar and ended, he played swords flipping my fiber so we both re
drew he summoned double coston attacked and ended, I had drawn nimble,
berserk gorilla, spear dragon, creature swap, goats and swords so I set
goats summoned berserk and attacked for 300 he was now on 5400 I was on
6300, I ended, he drew set a monster and ended, I activated goats in the
draw phase drawing reflect bounder and played creature swap with one of my
goats, it was a spirit reaper which I flipped and attacked the goat with,
and then attacked his LP for 2000 with gorilla then I played swords and
ended. He played pot and set another monster and ended I drew book of moon
summoned spear and attacked his FD spirit reaper, oh well I could win if I
carry on like this so after the attack I switched my spirit reaper to def
and ended, he had 1700 LP left so he closed his eyes drew a card and said if
only swords weren’t there, he then played book of life on his coston which
he ditched for ryu kokki and ended, with a grin on his face so I said to him
I don’t know why ur grinning mate u shoulda sacked spirit reaper, ive won
now and his smile slowly turned into a sulk and a mixture of swear words,
LOL
So I attacked with spear for the match. So far so good!

Match 2
Baker’s attack of the flying squirrels vs Peter’s chaos warrior

Didn’t know this guy either but he looked about mid 20’s and my cousin told
me he has a good deck but doesn’t strategise he just lays any old thing, so
I weren’t too worried, we got started and I won the coin toss, 2 in a row,
so by law of averages I should lose the next one, anyway I let him go first
to see what kinda move he would make so he drew, set a monster and a M-t and
ended, I drew pot, book, nimble, reflect, breaker, CED, played pot drawing
torrential tribute and GAF, so I set nimble and CED and end. He drew and
tribbed his FD sinister serpent for dark ruler ha-des, and he attacked butI
played CED on it so he ended, I knew I would have to watch out for that at
least till my nimble’s were gone so I drew ceasefire flipped nimble and
summoned breaker destroying his face down snatch steal, huh? Who lays a card
like that for a bluff? Especially this early in a duel.
Anyway I then set book of moon and ceasefire and attacked for 2600 and
ended,
He drew and played pot of greed, I noticed he hadn’t just drawn pot, he
already had it in his hand, uuum is he plotting something or is he just a
n00b!? anyway he sets a
M-T and a mon and ends. I draw premature burial and summon GAF and activate
ceasefire flipping his FD magician of faith and doing 2000 damage to him, so
I attacked his magician with nimble and he activated his FD goats, so I
attacked 2, set my torrential and ended. He drew and set an M-T and a mon
and ended. I drew call of the haunted summoned reflect and attacked his face
down cyber jar, ouch that was nasty.
He drew d.d. warrior lady, shining angel, magical scientist, ring of
destruction and change of heart setting all of the mons, I drew jinzo, GAF ,
maraunding captain, gemeni elf and my own ring of destruction, I summoned
the 3 mons and chained it to torrential tribute clearing the field of
monsters, then I just set ring and call and ended,
He drew at this point he had 8 cards in his hand! Just to remind u all of
the field so u don’t have to go back and read it again I have 3 face down
cards, COTH, Book of moon, and ROD, he has 1 FD M-T card, he set another M-T
card and summoned blade knight which he attacked with and I activated ROD
taking me down to 6400 and him down to 1800, nearly there now! He ends and I
draw spirit reaper not that it matters, I activate COTH reviving GAF which I
trib for jinzo and attack for the round

Round 2
He lets me go first and I draw GAF, ring of destruction, berserk gorilla,
breaker, ha-des and pot which I play drawing spear and CED so I set ring and
summon berserk and end, he sets a mon and a M-T card and ends, I drew
another berserk and summon spear which I attack with, it’s a cyber jar so I
do 1000 damage to him and the field is cleared of mons he draws, the warrior
returning alive, jinzo, kycoo, blade knight and spirit reaper, he summons
the kycoo and the blade and sets the spirit, wonder why he summoned the 2
mons, he must know that im bound to draw at least 1 mon with higher attack
then that I guessed his FD card must be something like waboku or somint like
that. I draw NOC, tribe, goats, CED swords O R L, just my luck no high
attackers when I need em!! Still tribe is strong enough to stand up to blade
knight so I summon him and NOC the face down spirit reaper and call
spellcaster and warrior to clear away all his ugly monsters, then I set both
of my CED, and end, I wouldn’t of laid em both but otherwise I would of had
to discard a card form my hand of 7 and I dint want to risk my goats or
waste my swords just yet. He draws and looks throagh his graveyard, I guess
whats coming and im right he removes a light and dark for BLS, GRRRRRRR!!!!!
My mortal enemy and the most n00bish card in the game, why isn’t on the new
ban list I ask u??? anyway im not having that so I ring it straight away
taking us both down to 5000, whats more he doesn’t pick up on the priority!
He uses burial on it but I CED it right back to his hand /by the way I hope
no one is mistaking my putting CED as an abbreviation,for chaos emperor
dragon I would take that as a huge insult! As if I would ever run a chaos
monster!/ anyway he has no more lights in his graveyard only 2 lights so he
does the next best thing and plays change of heart on my tribe but I have a
good memory and remember hie has jinzo in his hand from cyber jar so just to
be on the safe side I CED my own tribe to my hand leaving me wide open but
better to take damage then to be up against jinzo with hand ive got!
He plays reinforcements of the army to get out DD warrior lady which he
summons and attacks with taking me down to 3500 and I notice he still has
that face down card from about 4 turns ago and he didn’t activate it when I
attacked so im guessing it’s a bluff. He ends and I draw ceasefire now I
could easily kill his DD but he obviously wouldn’t remove cause he wants a
light in the graveyard so I think well im gonna have to kill it soon anyway
or he will trib it for jinzo so im about to lay tribe when I get a better
idea so I summon GAF and attack for 800 he does not remove and I play swords
and set ceasefire before ending. He draws and damn it!! Plays MST on my
swords, im getting a tiny bit worried which is bad news for him because
that’s a warning for me to know im about to go mental nimble on his but!!
So being the n00b he is removes a light and dark for BLS and attacks my GAF
and then my LP taking me down to 1200 and he is on 3400 he ends and I draw
fiber jar
So I summon tribe and call warrior discarding my berserk gorilla and I hit
him for 1600 and I end. He draws and puts another card face down so he has 2
M-T cards FD then he ends and I draw maraunding captain which I summon with
breaker and break the one he just put FD which was magic cylinder, whoah!!!
Talk about a close shave!!, anyway I attack him with my 3 mons for the win.
After the match he showed me his FD card was painful choice and I ask to see
what he had in his hand he had jinzo and the warrior returning alive…..
ok….i didn’t tell him but who can see what he could have done?.....n00b!!!
Still he took the loss well and shook my hand before walking away.

Match 3
Bakers attack of the nimble vs n00bs R us
This brat was so annoying. This was the conversation we had when we got
paired up

Him: r u that Baker guy everyone is talking about?
Me: yeah
Him: ur that guy davids cousin aint u?
Me: yeah thats me, whats ur name mate?
Him: I caned ur cousin last month.
Me: good for u
Him: he was crying like a baby
Me: well u will be crying like a baby if u insult my family one more time
Him: oh…um…um..nah I weren’t insulting ur family I was just saying
Me: well that’s good now heads or tails
Him: how bout this, tails I win, heads u lose
Me: how bout this u take this serious and I beat u in a fair duel or u take
this like a joke and I beat u in a humiliating way.
You: what way could u possibly beat me humiliatingly?
Me: with this ‘hold up nimble momonga’
Him: that piece of crap?
Then he muttered this is gonna be easy
Him: this will be the last card u ever see. ‘holds up BLS’

Well as u can guss he had done the 3 wrong things
1- insulted my family
2- insulted my nimble
3- bragged about his BLS
unfortunately I cant tell u exactly what happened in this duel as being the
n00bh he is he refused to let me keep notes on the match but I will tell u
that in the first round I had control in such a big way that I decided to
just have fun with him and his n00by deck by making him give me LP with
nimble then usiong fiber jar and doing it again I ended up with about 16,000
LP, LOL!!!
Second round I just caned him with field flooding but I made sure nimble got
in the final attack.

Well that was it I was in the agegroup finals, and just so all u chaos users
know
I have nothing against people who use BLS I just hate n00bs who have to
depend on it ALONE win duels and brag about it, even u people who use it
have gotta admit it really should be banned, all my best mates use it but
they have the pride to admit it is too broken and should be banned, who else
can?


Well this was my chance to make a name for myself at this tourney, which
seemed fairly competitive so I was itching to win it and show everyone how
good the new guy can be, I wasn’t planning to start coming to every one of
these ones as I would have to keep coming down to London, but it would be
nice to know that if I ever did make a return then I would be remembered and
respected, and I was hoping to get that by at least winning my agegroup, if
not the whole thing. So I asked the judge who I would be playing and he
pointed out someone with his back turned but I know that baseball cap
anywhere, my own little cousin had made it to the agegroup finals aswell so
I was up for a very tough but intresting duel as we use to know each others
decks inside out but we both agreed on changing them drastically at the
beginning of the year so I didn’t know what he was using but one thing I
know he would always use is his trademark card, peten the dark clown, me and
him often have a lot of debates on whose trademark card is better, nimble or
peten, we came to an agreement that they are both the same if u add up the
pros and cons, but I still think mine is better and he obviously thinks his
is better, however we are making a poll so if anyone wants to vote on which
one they think is better then please feel free to E-mail me with ur thoughts
and why u think so.
Anyway we both sat down and he smiled and said
Him: don’t I know u?
Me: yeah im Baker world champion duelest
Him: NO! im Baker, world champion duelest
Me: nah I think ur mistaken
Him: well we will see wont we.
Then we decided on a little wager, the winner gets 3 of the losers trademark
card because I have loads of nimbles and he has loads of petens, then a
couple of spectators started making bets, which my cousin had told me was
normal, they were betting cards and good ones at that I saw an airknight
thrown down, a BLS a chaos emperor and a maraunding captain and the guy
goes, I bet u all of these to ur whole supers folder that Baker wins….yeah
ive never heard that one before!
Anyway he won the coin toss and said that seeing as he is such a nice guy he
would let me goes first, yeah sure he always lets the opponent go first so
we drew our cards and began

Match 4
Agegroup Finals

Baker’s Attack Of The Nimble VS Baker’s Attack Of The peten
I drew pot, NOC, berserk, book of moon, GAF and spirit reaper
I played pot and drew call of the H and fiber jar, so I thought I would lay
some bait before starting the duel again so I set reaper and call and ended,
he drew and summoned exiled which he attacked with flipping my reaper then
he set a M-T card and ditched exiled to kill my reaper and ended, I drew
cyber jar and summoned berserk which I attacked with, he activated sakuretsu
armour, so I played call of the H and attacked again for 2000 then I set
book and ended he played reinforcements of the army to get out maraunding
captain which he summoned with GAF, then he played snatch on my berserk so I
activated book on it to stop him taking it, he attacked my berserk with GAF
and then my LP with captain for 1200, I don’t know why he attacked with GAF
first, probably because he couldn’t remember the def of gorilla. He ended
and I drew reflect bounder which I summoned to attack his captain for 500
then I set NOC and ended, he drew, set a monster and ended, I drew airknight
activated NOC on his face down DD warrior lady and I ditched reflect for
airknight attacking his GAF for 1900 and I drew maraunding captain before
ending he drew and summoned tribe discarding mataza the zapper to kill all
fairies and attacked me head on for 1600, I now had 5200 and he had 3600 and
1 card in his hand I had 4, so he ended and I drew jinzo, I summoned captain
and GAF, attacking his tribe with GAF and then head on with captain for a
total of 1900 leaving him with 1700, I ended and he drew and activated his
swords of revealing light, damn it!! Then he summoned the last card in his
hand, DD warrior lady and attacked my maraunding for 300 and he ended, I
drew ceasefire and set it with cyber jar and ended hoping he would lay an
effect monster he drew and activated NOC on my cyber jar, sh*t!! so I
chained ceasefire anyway to keep it alive and so 1500 onto him taking him
down to 400, he attacked my GAF with DD and ended, I drew and summoned tribe
calling warrior by discarding my jinzo, and I ended. He drew and summoned
GAF to attack my tribe got 700 I was now on 4200, he ended, and I drew
ha-des, this was my last turn with swords so I ditched my cyber jar for
ha-des and ended, swords was destroyed and he drew and set a M-T card before
ending I drew CED and set it along with fiber jar, I really shoulda summoned
it but ah well, so I attacked his GAF with ha-des and ended. He drew and
looked through his graveyard before setting a M-T card, hmmm is it call or
is he bluffing me? He ended and I drew goats and I attacked with ha-des for
the win…or so I thought! He activated call to bring back anything and
chained to torrential tribute, oh my god!!!!!! I set goats and ended he drew
and summoned GAF which he attacked with but I activated goats and he decided
to not attack any. he ended and I drew nimble YESSS!!!! Just at the right
time so I used CED on his GAF and summoned nimble to attack for the win. He
went straight to his side deck with a frown on his face and said ‘’I cant
believe im stooping this low’’ I knew what was coming…….BLS!

Round 2
He went first and just smiled for about a minute then he played painful
choice giving me peten, mataza, DDWL, blade knight and BLS I gave him peten
but still knew what was coming, he played monster reincarnation by
discarding his peten I gave him to bring back BLS, then he special summoned
another peten with the effect of the one just discarded, which he tribbed
for ha-des getting another peten in def mode then he set 2 M-T cards and
ended he had only 1 card in his hand which I knew was BLS, I drew 2 nimbles,
MST, goats, CED and Ring of D, I activated MST on his FD sakuretsu armour,
then I set nimble, CED and ring before ending, he activated royal decree, oh
great more good news, he drew and special summoned BLS and summoned mataza
the zapper, I cant believe he has drawn every card he needs, he switched
peten to attack mode and attacked my nimble with ha-des then he attacked
with peten hitting me for 500 then he attacked with mataza, I let 1 attack
go through so I had in all lost 1800 but on the second attack I used goats
so he attacked 1 and then 2 more with BLS, he ended and I drew ha des, I
just got battered from there on in
He handed my ass to me on a plate,

Round 3
My mate was politely asked to not take notes on this round, I dint know why
but I had no problem with it. We basically exchanged blows for quite a while
he had side decked BLS back out of his deck he hates it really and only uses
it in extreme circumstances, it ended up with us basically top decking I
only had a Face down torrential tribute and he had something face down as
well, he drew and summoned GAF which I torrential tributed, he ended and I
drew berserk gorilla and attacked he used sakuretsu armour on it, now we
were both top decking, I had 1800 LP and he had 1500 he drew and set a card
and ended, I drew premature burial and used it to bring back airknight,
lucky for me his FD card was goats so I won, it was a great duel and got a
clap from spectators.

Match 5
Tournament Finals

Baker’s Attack of The Nimble VS Bandit Joe

This guy looked pretty cool, he came right up to me after the duel and said

Him: dude that duel was intense, and u were playing ur cousin, that’s gotta
be serious pressure, man, im looking forward to a tough duel with u, hope u
can provide.
Me: oh so u won your age group? Cool, and yeah I sure can provide a tough
challenge, just hope ur skills can keep me interested!
Him: well we will see wont we.

So I was looking forward to a good duel with him I don’t see the point in
winning a tourney if u had no good matches, my cus was about to tell me
about him and his deck and I stopped him and told him ide rather find out
myself.
We done the coin toss which I won and let him go 1st and just before we were
about to start he asked me if I wanted a little wager, the winner gave 5
packs to the winner, but I said to him that I would but I wasn’t keeping the
prize if I won it, and he asked if instead I wanted a little card wager, so
we looked through each others swaps and we decided that if I won I would get
his Don Zaloog and if he won he would get my spare of left arm of exodia. I
was once again asked not to get my mate to keep notes. But I will try to
reacount as much as I can.

The first round went to him, was running a very well made machine deck and
he ended up with spell cancellor and jinzo on the field and I had only M-T
in my hand

The second round was mine, he thought he ad me with his pumped up spell
cancellor and royal decree but I used my cyber jar to clear his monsters and
completely flood the field with my beatsticks.

Round 3
He went first by summoning X head cannon and putting a card FD, I played MST
on his FD sakuretsu armour and summoned berserk gorilla to attack for 200,
then I set CED and ended, he played pot and frontline base to special summon
Z metal tank and the he summoned another X tank cannon and removed em both
from play for X-Z tank cannon, he discarded sinister serpent to destroy my
FD CED which I chained with to return the machine to his fusion pile, he
then just set a M-T card and ended,
I drew and ditched berserk gorilla for jinzo and attacked for 2400, I ended
and he summoned cyber jar before playing creature swap, then he attacked my
cyber jar for 1500, I was now on 6500 and he was on 6400, he ended and I
laughed as I had drawn my own creature swap but low and behold I had no
monsters left so I just settled for using premature burial on gorilla and
using snatch steal on his/my jinzo and attacking for 4400, me and my cus
couldn’t exactly remember what happened from here on in except the he
restarted the duel with fiber once and at the end we ended up at him with
500LP and me with 2300. I had a berserk gorilla and a nimble on the field
and he had only sinister serpent in his hand he drew and I knew he had lost
from the look on his face, he asked his LP and upon being told he had 500LP,
just to lose in style he used premature burial and targeted night assailant.
We had a long laugh about it all!

So I won the tourney!! And it wasn’t even my local, now that’s pretty
impressive in my book and I now have a prize for my tournament next month
and I don’t have to buy it!

Afterwards a load of us including Bandit Joe /it wasn’t until then he told
me his codename was bandit Joe or I would have had a good idea at his deck
type!/
We all went to Mcdonalds and had some tag duels, me and my cus lost to
bandit Joe and his brother who used a last turn deck, bah! Just my luck, the
pressure goes down and my duelling talent goes n00bish!
