I woke up at 9:00 and did the usual (shower, get dressed, eat breakfast etc.) and then I head out with Mike over to the bus station and catch the 10:30 bus as we catch up with his nephew Chris. We arrive at the card shop at 11:25 and expect to buy the strike of neos special edition boosters. They got pushed to the next week so whatever. I then decide to buy a strike of neos booster pck for $5 and I pull...................... an ultimate rare Fuison Devower or whatever it's called. I then trade a Gene-Warped warewolf, Elemental Hero Steamhealer, and some ojama stuff for a secret rare Nova Summoner. Next I find someone who has an Exploder Dragon and I trade a rare Alien Warrior for it. I found it odd that he didn't accept the ultimate rare one instead. After making a few modifications the tourney starts. Before that I buy an ultra rare Cyber End Dragon for $30.

Round one: JT vs. Robbie (Final Countdown deck)
Duel one: I beat him with Cyberdark Edge equipped with Masked Dragon.
Duel Two: My time ran out as I was one turn away from winning
Duel Three: Cyberdark Horn equipped with Exploder dragon, Cyberdark Edge equipped with Masked Dragon, and Cyber Dragon all pumped up with a top decked Limiter Removal was just enough to finish him off.

Between rounds: I wandered around to waste time.

Round two: JT vs. Mike Courtney (Cookie cutter deck)
Duel one: I win with Cyberdark Edge who gave a direct attack for just 400 points.
Duel Two: I got my Five Headed Dragon out for second turn but he Brain controlled it and attacked an attack position Twin-Headed Behemoth enough said.
Duel Three: I got beat by Hydrogeddons.

Between rounds: Justin arrives and buys 3 strike of neos packs and pulls Dark world dealings. I trade a super rare  Elemetal Hero Dark Neos and a rare Fuison Devower for it.

Round Three: Nick (rich kid) vs JT
Duel one: Sacred Pheonix defeats everything I had.
Duel Two: I gave it my all but I got owned.

Between rounds: James and Jamie arrive at the card shop. I trade the Dark World Dealings for a Super rare Destiny Hero Dogma to Jamie and I trade a rare Power Bond and some rare trap for an ultimate rare System Down.

Round four: JT gets the bye.

Before top 8: I trade Chris a Blue-eyes Shinning Dragon for an Emes The Infinity.

                                  Top eight time

Quarter finals: JT vs. Jeff (Zombie control I think)
Duel one: I beat him with a top decked Cyberdark Edge equipped with Twin-Headed Behemoth.
Duel two: He beats me with Vampire Lords and a Pyrimid Turtle.
Duel Three: Very close because I had him at 750 life points but his Vampire Lord destroyed an unequipped Cyberdark Edge.

Post tourney:
I collect my grab bag and pull a rare Elemetal Hero Rampart Blaster. I then trade the rich kid my ultra rare Cyber End Dragon for his paralell rare Cyber End Dragon, an ultimate rare B.E.S. Tetran, and an ultimate rare Ancient Rules. The paralell rare Cyber End Dragon looks cooler. I get picked up by my step-father and head home earlier than usuall to watch the first episode of the third season of yugioh gx.

Time for props and slops.

Props:
  • Cyberdark edge working better than the fuisons
  • Jeff for a very close and awesome duel
  • That paralell rare Cyber End Dragon
  • Getting a secret rare from the new set

  • You for reading this

Slops:

  • Ken for still not being here (I want that Cyberdark Dragon back)
  • Chuckie for not trading his Infernal Dragon (I need it more than you)
  • The Strike of neos packs for not arriving yet
  • Not pulling Grandmaster of the six samurai out of the pack I bought
  • Upperdeck for making powerful cards easier to get (Chimeratech Overdragon, Cyber Dragon etc.)
  • Not making it into the top eight
  • Kane losing to The Great Kahli at Wrestlemania last weekend
  • Batista for being the one who had to lose to the Undertaker (I would have prefered it to be Umaga)
  • Trading the gellenduo I pulled 4 weeks ago
