Pojo's Yu-Gi-Oh News
The first thing we notice about
Breaker the Magical
Warrior is its trait,
Counter Spell.
Counter Spell
begins the game placing a Spell token on
Breaker the Magical
Warrior’s character card, and while a Spell token is on
its card, Breaker
the Magical Warrior can use
Super Senses to
evade attacks.
However, the benefits don’t stop there: players can give
Breaker the Magical
Warrior a power action and remove the Spell token to
deal an opposing character within 6 squares and line of fire
2 penetrating damage! Alternatively,
Breaker the Magical
Warrior can remove the Spell token and take a free
action to deal 1 penetrating damage to an opposing figure
within 6 squares and line of fire!
Throughout its entire dial,
Breaker the Magical
Warrior can use
Charge to maneuver into position and make close combat
attacks, while Expoit
Weakness means that any damage
Breaker the Magical
Warrior deals in close combat is penetrating!
Mid- to late-dial,
Breaker the Magical Warrior also picks up
Precision Strike,
ensuring that damage dealt doesn’t get reduced below 1,
evaded or transferred (say via
Mastermind).
Early on, Breaker
the Magical Warrior enjoys some protection from damage
thanks to
Invulnerability (which reduces damage dealt by 2).
Later in its dial,
Toughness reduces
damage dealt to Breaker the Magical Warrior by 1.
