YuGiOh Episode Guide

YuGi vs. Pegasus Part 4

This episode starts with Tristan throwing the Millenium Ring away  from  the castle from a  tower.  He takes the bodies of Bakura, who seems weakened with out the Ring, and Mokuba.  Meanwhile, angry with the destruction of Toon World, Peagusus traps the dueling platform within the shadow realm.  Yugi cannot withstand the power here, and lets Yami Yugioh take his place as the duelist.  He plays curse of dragon, but Peagusus plays " Dark eyes illusionist" , which paralyzes it.  Then He sacrafices Dark Eyes to Ritual Summon Relinqished, who absorbs curse of dragon.  Yugioh attackes with Dark Magician, but instead destroys curse of dragon and 500 of his own life points!  Yugi switches back, but is overcome by the power, lost in the strength of the shadow realm!  Peagusus says his sacrafice will be in vain, as he plays Jigen Bakudan.  He has relinqished suck up Dark Magician, so in two turns half of it's attack points will be deducted from Yugioh's life points, ending the game!

Yugi Vs Pegasus -  Match of the Millennium, Part 4

It's starts off  with Tristen  having trouble with the SPirit of the ring who wants Mokuba as his new host. So Tristen knocks the spirit out while he was distracted by getting Mokuba. Then Tristen throws the Ring out into the forest down below.

Inside the Shadow Realm Yugi and the Spirit knew that if Pegasus takes them to the Shadow Realm it could only mean one thing....a Shadow Game. Pegsus starts saying that this time around it'll be harder to contain the monsters that are on the feild, for it drains your energy, making you weak. Since Yugi had little experience dueling in the Shadow Realm he was feeling the pain. The Spirit takes over they continue dueling.

Pegasus is loving watching the strain of the two Yugis, and decides to throw a new monster into play; one designed especially for this duel. The Dark Eyes Illusionist has 0 attack points and 0 defence points, but it has other powers to help it out instead.  He then Mind Shuffles back to Yugi Moto, but the young mind is obviously struggling with the strain.

Outside the arena, Yugi's friends can sense his pain. While none of them truly understand why, it seems that they have grown some kind of spiritual link as their friendship has grown.

Pegasus, he tells Yugi that he may as well give up the Mind Shuffle as it is obviously too much for him to handle. Yugi agrees reluctantly, and the spirit returns.

As the Curse of Dragons attacks, the Dark Eyes Illusionist activates its hypnotic power to paralyse Yugi's monster. As Pegasus's turn begins, he uses the Black Illusion Ritual to sacrifice his Illusionist, but brings forth a stronger Spellcaster monster, Relinquished. Although this monster also has no attack or defence, it has a stronger hypnotic power, and with it Relinquished sucks Yugi's Curse of Dragons into it.

The Spirit summons the Dark Magician and attacks, but Relinquished activates its Defence Shield, the Curse of Dragon. Pegasus explains that Relinquished can use any monster that it has absorbed to defend itself, but when the defensive shield monster is destroyed, it is Yugi's life points that are affected. Yugi find his life points drop to 400.  Pegasus then uses Relinquished to suck in the Dark Magician, using it like a Defence Shield to replace the destroyed Curse of Dragons.

Yugi insists that they have to continue the Mind Shuffle, but the spirit is unsure. If Yugi's mind collapses under the strain of the duel, his soul will be shredded and lost forever. However Yugi remains persistent, so the two switch once more. As Yugi draws what could be his last card, Pegasus decides to try and fight Yugi from within, crushing his mind by over straining it.

As Yugi lays down the drawn card face down, he plays the Feral Imp into defence mode. But as he prepares to switch minds again, Pegasus attacks the Feral Imp with the Dark Magician, destroying the Imp and crushing Yugi's mind. As Yugi's body collapses, his friends outside the arena all sense the pain. Realising that something has happened, they become more determined to try to help Yugi.

Inside Yugi's mind, the spirit was trying to revive his friend, but there is no hope left, as Yugi's soul has been shredded. Pegasus seems pleased at crushing the young mind, and taunts the spirit to continue the duel alone. Meanwhile, unable to sense Yugi anymore, Téa tries to penetrate the vortex, but find herself re-emerging from it in the same place. As Tristan rushes into it, he finds himself passing through it and out the other side. It seems that Pegasus is determined that only he and Yugi will witness the Shadow Game unfolding.

Determined to avenge Yugi Moto's defeat, the spirit returns, ready to show Pegasus no mercy. But he cannot change the fact that he failed to protect his keeper, and now may well fail to rescue Kaiba, Mokuba and Yugi's Grandpa as he alone is unable to block Pegasus's mind reading powers.

Drawing the Winged Dragon, he realises that none of his cards can help him win, but maybe Yugi's face down card could help, if he only knew what it was. Playing the Winged Dragon in defence mode, Pegasus destroys it. Playing Gigenbakudon, Pegasus explains that in two turns this new monster will self destruct, destroying Relinquished.

While this will destroy both Relinquished and the Dark Magician, Relinquished has no attack or defence points and so Pegasus's life points will remain untouched. It will however destroy Yugi's remaining life points. Not only that, but Gigenbakudon cannot be destroyed by any attack, so there is no way to stop it exploding.

As the spirit searches for some strategy that can help him, Pegasus assures him that he has no card that can help him win. With the power of the Mind Shuffle gone, and no way of stopping Pegasus's bomb, is there any way that the spirit of the puzzle can win the duel, or was Yugi's sacrifice all for nothing?

---------

Yami Bakura threatened to send Tristan to the graveyard if he didn't hand over Mokuba. However, Tristan decided to put his hand to work and knock Bakura out cold with a karate chop. To keep the evil spirt away, Tristan threw the ring out of the castle window and into the forest below...
Tristan took Bakura and Mokuba back to the dueling room, where Yugi and Pegasus were being encased in a huge dark essence. Joey, Tea and Tristan all ran down to check it out.
In the Shadow Realm, Yugi was weak to the darkness and could only survive if Yami took over which he did. Pegasus played a monster known as Dark Eyes Illusion 0000/0000. Yami then played Curse of Dragon! (my favorite card! ^_^) Yami switched to Yugi, but it really hurt the little guy.
Joey, Tea and Tristan, even though couldn't see him, all felt that Yugi was in trouble.
Meanwhile, Yugi switched back to Yami, unable to continue the turn, and attacked with Curse of Dragon. However, the Dark Eyes paralized Curse of Dragon with a powerful glare. Pegasus then played a card to sacrifice his Dark Eyes and summon Relinqused 0000/0000. It sucked in Curse of Dragon. DM attacked, but Relinqused formed a shield using the Curse of Dragon. The dark magic spell ended up destroying the Curse of Dragon (*sniff*) and made Yugi lose 500 life points. To make things worse, Relinqused sucked in the DM to use as yet another shield. But in addition, the DM powered up Relinqused to 2500/2100. Yugi wanted to mind swap again so Pegasus couldn't read their next move, so they did. Yugi tryed his hardest to fight the dark energy, and through a painful experience, drew a card. He played it face down and played Feral Imp in defense mode. Relinqused wiped out Feral Imp, and Yugi fainted... Yami couldn't feel Yugi's soul.
Tea couldn't take what she sensed and and tryed to enter the Shadow Realm, only to get thrown out. Tristan tried to enter what he described as the "big bubble thingie" and ended up on the opposite side of it. There was nothing they could do...
Yami took over Yugi's body again, thirsting for revenge. Yami drew Winged Dragon Guardian of The Fortress #1, but Pegasus used his Eye to see it. The only card Pegasus couldn't look at was the magic card Yugi played. Yami played Winged Dragon defense mode, only to have it crushed. Pegasus then played the Shienbakuda 200/1000. A time bomb monster that could destroy the Dark Magician in 2 turns, wiping out Yami's life points...
