#61 - Master of Magicians 2
Arkana sets a trap for Yugi and sacrifices a monster
from each to summon his
Dark Magician to the field. What follows is a battle of
magic v.s. magic, with Arkana trying to destroy Yugi's
Dark Magician and Yugi protecting it, ending up in a
double Monster Reborn. Arkana then uses a combo to use
up Yugi's last facedown card and trap Yugi's Dark
Magician while launching an attack with his own. Yugi
calls up Big Shield Gardna to defend his lifepoints, but
Arkana gets through that by using Doll of Demise with
Ectoplasmer. Tea and Grandpa, searching for Yugi, meet
and team up with Mokuba to find him. Arkana prepares to
use his Dark Magician to fuel Ectoplasmer, and Yugi says
he is disloyal to his cards for giving them up.
Arkana says that monsters are only meant to obey,
earning an uneasy look from his Dark Magician. He calls
on Ectoplasmer, draining his Magician's life energy to
fuel a final attack on Yugi, but Yugi's Mage surrenders
it's power to stop the attack. Yugi explains that when
there is more than one monster of the same name on the
field and Ectoplasmer is used on one, it affects them
all. Arkana says that Yugi may have escaped this time,
but that he will triumph.
