Bakura summons Jowgen the Spiritualist, and uses its
ability to destroy Dark
Necrofear and restore Dark Sanctuary. Yugi is left with
only one option, and
he takes it. Sacrificing his three monsters, he summons
Slifer the Sky Dragon. Bakura is left helpless, until
Marik has Odion step in. He pretends that he controls
Bakura and the spirit of the Ring, and proves it by
freeing
Bakura. Marik is convinced that Yugi will not risk
hurting his friend.
However, the spirit will also not take that risk, and
reassumes control to protect Bakura. Yugi blasts him,
and wins the duel. As they are about to leave the room,
Yugi notices that the Ring is missing. Afterwards, Tea,
who stayed to watch Bakura, takes on the pupiless
quality of a mind slave. She holds up the Millennium
Ring with an evil giggle.
