Second Turn Around — SoFarSoGood’s Deck Garage
I’m not going to lie to you guys, I’m fairly new at all
of this Deck Garage business. Although I’ve been playing
the game for quite a while, this is my first Yu-Gi-Oh!
Deck Garage, and to be honest, I’m really not sure about
how many e-mails I’m going to receive on a weekly basis.
However, rest assured that I will do my best to respond
to each and every one of them. Although I will obviously
not be able to fix and review all of your Decks, I will
post one to two a week in the Garage itself, along with
my thoughts about how it can be improved. However, in
order to give you an accurate, legitimate Deck fix, I do
need your help.
_Please do your best to send neat, organized e-mails. I
don’t want to have to waste my time trying to decipher
sloppily written requests for reviews. Also, in the
title of your e-mail, please type a unique Deck title
that can be used to post it in the Garage under. Many
e-mails I receive will read something like “Tournament
Deck”, but posts like that will not catch my attention
as easily as ones with vibrant, original titles.
_You may send your Decks to my e-mail any time. Although
I will not get to all of them quickly, I will try, of
course, to respond to any questions you may have as soon
as possible.
_Try to send me original, unique Decks. I won’t review
any two Deck types in a row, unless the game experiences
major changes, such as the addition of a new set,
restrictions, and of course the bans.
_I will be happy to review either pre or post-ban Decks
for you. Please tell me beforehand whether the Deck will
be used in competitive or limited play, and whether it
will use bans or not. If you do happen to be building on
a budget, let me know as well, so that I can suit your
Deck to how much money you’re willing to spend. Please
note that I will not review any Japanese Decks.
_Keep in mind that your Deck will not be perfect, even
after my additions and changes. Your meta-game will
change, and the playability of certain cards varies
throughout some areas. It will be up to you to then edit
the Deck as you see fit.
…And that’s all there is to it. Once you feel your Deck
and e-mail have met the above criteria, send away. You
can expect at least one thorough fix from me each and
every week.
