Well, do I have
a doozy for today! I have a known member from the
forums, and an all around nice guy here today sending in
his Cold Wave deck, this looks to be a great fix people!
Get exited!
Here is what Dave had to say about his deck... Hey Rj, Yata here. This is my Cold Wave deck, which relies mainly on the strong annoyance factor of Anti-Spell Fragrance. I am, for the most part, an aggressive player, but I know when to be cautious about a Mirror Force and whatnot. My main dilemma is fitting Bounder in here, many have recommended I use it. I also think that Non-Aggresion Area would help to produce a lock with Cold Wave, so they could neither use spells/traps or monsters, but my main deck is pretty solid, so I decided to side them (maybe). The Ojama Trios are sided in the event I come upon a swarm deck, so I could spring some Ojamas on them and clog up their field, maybe even lock up their monster zones. The purpose of this deck is to annoy my opponent, catch them off guard with the deck-type, and win partially due to their lack of a good counter. Assailant Magician of Faith Magician of Faith Sangan Now then, its a nice build, but the first thing I'm going to suggest is a total drop on the idea of reflect bounder, its just not that good, I heard about someone ramming a Scapegoat token into a Reflect just to kill it and win the game by attacking with another monster, we need more stable monsters...Here is my fix... -Airknight -Sangan +D.D. Assailant +Morphing Jar Jar is just to good NOT to be in this deck! Lets move on... Magics, lets look at the original version... Spells - 10 Snatch Steal Premature Burial Mystical Space Typhoon Heavy Storm Delinquent Duo Cold Wave Cold Wave Cold Wave Graceful Charity Pot of Greed You aren't supposed to run a lot of magics in a Cold Wave deck, but what your doing here is just taking it to far, 14 is a good number for magics, maybe 13 to =/...Im agoing to erase that entire line up and add this... Magics x13 Cold Wave Cold Wave Cold Wave Smashing Ground Smashing Ground Graceful Charity Duo Heavy Storm Mystical Space Typhoon Premature Burial Snatch Steal Pot of Greed Swords Of Revealing Light See? Thats nice! Right? Onto traps... Original line up looked OK, but now we need 10, so lets make a newer line up... Traps - 13 Call of the Haunted Ring of Destruction Torrential Tribute Ceasefire Bottomless Trap Hole Bottomless Trap Hole Magic Drain Magic Drain Anti-Spell Fragrance Anti-Spell Fragrance Anti-Spell Fragrance Dust Tornado Dust Tornado Here is the new, some of that stuff just doesn't look right... Now I would explain the placestyle, but its the same thing as the first, but, in my opinion, now the deck is a lot more resilient and it will run a lot better, thanks for sending it in Dave! -Rj
