[3] BoM to compliment my monsters as well as... well they are pretty versatile and can do quite a bit [2] Smashing Ground...t0 get by my 0pponent's monsters...though I personally feel [2] may be overkill and I may consider dropping [1] for that reason [1] Magic Cylinder...I wanna try and d0 as much damage as p0ssible here...and little cards like this are just realy helpful like that I am c0nsidering a lot of things...perhaps CEDev just f0r the sake 0f going PURE AGGR0...then there's Mirror Wall, which can serve the same purp0se for the most part--weakening my 0pponent's monsters making my ATK more hefty on their LP. Side-Board needs some help as well. [3] King Tigers have to stay...they are pure Anti-Meta and fit well with Ox as they are beast...s0 MORE TRAMPLE...and 17o0 isn't bad at all [I mean Ox has it, does he not?] [3] Prohibition...an extremely underrated card that can stop a lot. Helps with Burns/Stalls/OTKs/EtC...All I have to do is call out those heavy hitters and I can stall for a long while...and if anything it can sever as M/T removal fodder...my opponent so gallantly wastes his MST/Heavy Storm/Breaker on my Prohibition to later run into a S. Armor...XD Kinetic Soldier--Anti Warrior Mobius--Pretty simple to understand Mataza The Zapper--to g0 Aggr0 a bit differently fr0m time t0 time...go0d against Stalls...and well he is a go0d replacement for Don occasionally Kyco0--Easy t0 understand I am also considering a plethora of cards for the Side as well... ^Solemn Judgement ^Royal Decree ^Blade Knight ^Raigeki Break ^Fiber Jar Anyway, if you happen to look over this deck..Thanks, I really appreciate it. Either way...Go0d Lo0ks! -SiLk Urgh...if this had been e-mailed to me before I set up the formatting guidelines it would've been deleted immediately. You have no idea what I nightmare it was to read and format that. Anyways, you asked for help on the sideboard, so I'll focus in on that, looking at the deck only briefly. In fact, the deck itself looks very good, with a few things I'd change. First off, I think you ought to drop the Swords of Revealing Light for a RotA. Also, the Sakuretsus are sort of useless in an Aggro deck, at least IMO. Compulsory Evacuation Device would do much better. -2 Sakuretsu +2 CEDevs But anyways, you wanted me to look at the sideboard, so here goes: We can put the SorL in it over the RotA, and then drop the Prohibitions for Enemy Controllers. And you can drop the Matazas for Final Attack Orders. They can work really well here, especially with Kycoo/Don. So, your new sideboard would be: [3] King Tiger Wanghu [3] Final Attack Orders [2] Enemy Controller [3] Kinetic Soldier [2] Kycoo [1] SoRL [1] Mobius Now, for the tourney report: Well, I come to The Lucky Frog, and there's a Traditional tourney...too bad I don't have a Traditional deck... So I just throw together a bunch of stuff that somewhat resembles my Advanced deck, add Witch and Sangan, and figure I'm going to lose all my games. Well, first round...I'm paired up against...something...=/...like, it ran what seemed like random LIGHTs and DARKs plus BLS...so I actually got to win. At this point there's some little kid trash-talking all these other little kids, saying how he's so good he doesn't need the banned cards, doesn't even need Pot of Greed. I resisted strongly the urge to go up to him and wipe him 2-0 for various reasons, like the fact that I was still in the middle of a match at that time. And then after the match I did some Trig homework...gotta love Arccotangents...or however it's spelled. Yeah, so round 2, I'm actually paired up against someone good...but he wasn't using any banned cards either, lol. Except since I was using Witch and Sangan I had a pretty huge advantage over him and won off of it...of course, he was using Premature and Call, and I wasn't, so...=/. But still, I win 2-1, so now my overall record is: 4-0-1, and matches are 2-0. Next round, I get a 2-1 win...he got some mad luck with beatsticks one game and managed to win off of it. After that, we cut to finals, not much to say, except that I split the prize with a friend in the final 2. I was somewhat amused that we both managed to pull off tourney wins in Traditional with Advanced format decks. Now it's time for the Advanced tourney...and I get another easy win round 1. Go me...=/. Round 2...I play the same guy (Roger) that I played in the Traditional tourney, and again I win 2-1, although this time I have to call him on some things to get the win (like drawing before I ended and stuff...and trying to take back plays). Round 3 Well, my opponent, he seriously stacked...as in...used those illegal reflective sleeves that allow you to easily switch the order + see cards before you draw them and all sorts of illegal cheatingness. I called over the judge to have him watch for it, but unfortunately he was doing it too subtlely for us to call him on it...but it was obvious he was doing it nonetheless. I found it funny that I still only lost 1-2 when I was barely trying and he was pulling like first turn Painful, Pot, Heavy Storm, 3 games in a row...literally, all followed up by early BLS's, and a Snatch on my Balter that he topdecks followed by a BLS after he kills the Kycoo that I got from him. Round 4: Me vs...something that I beat before I figure out what the heck it is... You'd think I'd have to play someone good, being 2-1...but I just play some dude that actually lets me draw THREE TIMES with Royal Magic Library, and I got to 9900 off of his Snatch Steal...very poor play, needless to say I won 2-0. Quarterfinals: Me vs. Someone who I would've expected to beat...but didn't...=/. Yeah, I know this is a lousy tourney report, but I've got a lot of work to do after I type this up...and coding it into HTML as you go is a pain. Anyways, long story short I make good plays that I just have some bad feeling about both games...and both games I lose because of them. Like Solemn Judgmenting his Pot of Greed...when he has only 1 card left in his hand. It turns out to be Dimension Fusion...=/. Game one, loss. Then he MST's my BoM, and I'm thinking I should chain BoM on my Mobius...I don't, he flips MoF, CoH's Mobius, attacks for game... Yeah...at that point I was like: ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Yeah...so I lose in Top 8 this time, I guess it's my fault for doing my Trig HW during the tourney, anyways, I get no prize for making Top 8 whatsoever...so that sucks, cuz I now am out of store credit...but yeah, I'm out of time, so...until next time...
