Tourney week is
almost over =( Tomorrow is the
traditional Friday fun pick special
(well, at least whenever I do CotD), but today
we're looking at a monster that's three
of a kind, and that would be Goddess
with the Third Eye.
Card Text:
Light/Fairy/4/1200/1000
Effect: You
can substitute this card for any 1
Fusion-Material Monster. You cannot substitute
for any other Fusion-Material Monster in the
current Fusion.
Analysis:
Well, this card is
basically the same as Versago the
Destroyer and Beastking of
the Swamps, so think of this as
another triple review (like the 3 GG parts).
If you play a
Fusion deck, I would get at least 2
of any of the above. These cards are
just invaluable, as it makes it that
much easier to perform fusions.
With B. Skull Dragon, you
wouldn't have to have Red-eyes Black
Dragon in your deck. With Twin-Headed
Thunder Dragon, you could
theoretically special summon 2 of them (2 sets
of one Thunder Dragon and one
Fusion substitute). You could even play
crappy fusions like Skull Knight
and Bickuribox!
Just remember that
you can't just use 2 of these Fusion
substitute monsters in the same fusion,
otherwise they may be broken =X
You will remember
in my B. Skull Dragon review
that you could try splashing 1 of these guys
and 1 Polymerization into any
F/S deck to possibly bring out a real
hard-hitter. After looking at that, I
realized how vulernable and pointless the
combo really is, because by the time you draw
both of them and a SS, the game is most likely
over, as F/S decks are built for speed,
and a Fusion would slow it down.
So, in other
words, only play these guys in decks based
around Fusions.
Should YOU
play it?
If you play a Fusion deck get at
least 2. They will speed your
deck up. Otherwise, run away.
Score:
I will give these
three an average score of 2.8.
Their stats aren't very good, but their effect
is very nifty.
