Sword Hunter
Another of Joey's card. This card has a really cool
effect but it's just not worth it. First of all, it's
a 2 Tribute Monster, which automatically made it
really unplayable in the current environment. Next,
the Monsters that becomes equiped to SH goes to YOUR
Magic/Trap Field. This means that you are using up
precious spots. If all of your M/T Spots are filled,
you can't play any more Magic/Trap cards from your
hand, which sucks. IMO, it's just not worth the
2-tribute... ;x

Monday - Sword Hunter
When this monster destroys another in battle, that
monster is equipped onto SH and SH gains 200 ATK for
it.
At first, the effect looks really good, but for those
who have used it, you probably have noticed that it
fills up your m/t zone real quick, leaving you with no
room to play your magic and trap cards. Not only that,
it requires 2 tributes. You might as well have gone
with a BEWD.
I give this a 2/5. Maybe it might work well in a earth
beatdown deck, but I suggest finding another heavy
hitting monster as this monster hurts you more
than helps. |

Sword Hunter Truth be
told, this card just isn't that useful. Yes, the +200
for each monster you destroy is nice, and it's a
Common, but still, it eats up your (valuable)
Magic/Trap slots, and let's face it, Barrel Dragon is
the superior Level 7 monster =/. Unless you're running
a mono-Warrior deck (just wait until Legacy of
Darkness (sadly, that's the confirmed name of the
Struggle of Chaos + Mythological Age combo set =( ))
or in a booster draft, I would steer away from this
guy.

The effect is pretty cool.
But has many flaws to it.
First off, it won't
survive very long (If you can even get it on the
field) unless you're packing a ton of Counters.
Second, IF it does live long, then you're M/T section
will be very used up, if not completely full.
This should NEVER see
any tournament play unless you really don't care about
tournaments. If you do care, keep this card in casual
play.

Monday - Sword Hunter
I'm not exactly sure how good this card is. It
partially looks like it has some bad translation on
it. I would expect this card to get some rulings and
errata to fix it. It definitely seems useful. Not on
par with Relinquished or Thousand Eyes Restrict, but
it's still pretty good it seems.
