Reduce to
Dreams
This card goes right into a category I like to
call Expensive Sideboard Cards. If the casting
cost were lower, sure, you could play it in
constructed against Affinity. As a sorcery, I
doubt this card would slow down Affinity very
much in any case. This card is way, way too
narrow to be even the least bit useful in
limited, except maybe in Magic Online leagues
FROM THE SIDEBOARD in a late week when you find
yourself up against an opponent with a
ridiculous number of artifacts (unlikely) and
enchantments (more likely).

It's a five mana sorcery that bounces all your
and their artifacts and enchantments. This is
way too slow for Standard, and too expensive to
be combo-y in type one like some of the other
Artifact bouncers can be, not to mention being a
sorcery. This whole card just gets filed under "uck.!"

This might have some uses. I know the first
thing to do with a card like this is to look at
the possible defensive possibilities. However,
it can also be used to pick up all your
artifacts and give you soem mana to reuse. Just
something to think about. I don't expect this to
be a huge card in casual circles. And in limited
play, this isn't that strong in Kamigawa block.

Well, we
won't need this against Ravager anymore now,
will we...Boom. Not really of much use in
current formats, but he could find some
weird place in casual tricks perhaps. I
can't think of what they would be right now,
because I am totally exhausted from working
a double pre-release for Yugioh this last
weekend. Bleh. In limited, you would only
consider this as a sideboard if your
opponent has something very evil.

Reduce to
Dreams is one of those cards that people will
work so hard to abuse and then realize it
probably isn’t worth their time. Sure I can
think of some uses for it but nothing good
enough to justify 5 mana. If you need an answer
to an opposing deck you need to find something
cheaper. If you want to find something that
combos with your own deck you simply need to
find something better.

Reduce to
Dreams --
This card seems extremely unimpressive. For five
mana, you get a mediocre effect that is only
half relevant in today's metagame. However, with
the new bannings announced earlier in the week
that will put a severe damper on Affinity decks,
this card slides that much further down the
Scale of Goodness. As far as casual environments
go, unless you have a ton of artifacts and
enchantments running around your local gaming
circle, I would spend one more mana and play
Upheaval.
This card seems pretty bad in limited. It might
have been half-way decent in Mirrodin block, but
once you hit Kamigawa and the artifact count
goes way down, it will rarely even get a second
glance before being stuffed into my sideboard.
